dropped emails

I like to send articles from the news web sites such as real clear poltics, etc to my friends for discussion. I highlight the article, click the email area in the drop menu,  the screen switches back to the outlook screen but nothing appears to be sent by outlook.

What is wrong?

Deleting a contact that I see in the TO drop down, but not in my contact list

When I am creating an email, I click on TO to get a list of people I want to send it to. I see an email address in the list I do not recognize. When I go to contacts to delete this, I cannot find it. How do I get delete it or why am I seeing it in the TO list, but not in the contacts? As a side, my account was recently hacked and I changed password and all. Thanks.

Is anyone else having issues with Hotmail for the past few weeks? The screen comes up weird, I can't get into email.I can't open attachments in Hotmail.....Do I need to switch my email to another provider?

Adding/Deleting Contacts From Hotmail Groups

I've tried following the instructions for adding/deleting contacts from groups but when I've added a contact to a group, that contact still does not show up when I try to send an email to that group and the contact removed from the group still shows. Does it take a period of time for the changes to take effect?

I have received an email, apparently from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, asking me for my Hotmail password. Is this a scam?

Does Microsoft ever send an email that asks for the recipient to submit a password from within the email?

I can no longer create a group from contacts how to I do it

I used to be able to add a contact to a category ( such as add to Book Review Group)  now with a new contact page I do not know how to do it.  My category had many groups...now only one left....do I go to groups?  very tedious to type each e-mail.

My entire inbox has been deleted

I logged into my hotmail account to find that my entire inbox, including separate folders I had created, has been deleted. I did not delete these myself. There were no mail messages transferred to my Deleted folder nor are there any messages in my Junk folder. It looks like I have a brand new account. 

How can I get my content back? There were some very personally important emails in my inbox dating back 10+ years as well as recent online purchase confirmations, as in purchased tonight and last week, that I need tracking information for.  Thanks.
