did a complete re install of windows 7. all updates done worked at first then windows update for messamger loaded and when i started again it was gone..

Accidentally refused a request

I accidentally said no to someone who wanted to add me on MSN. I don't know what email was used and I did not block that person.

 

Is there any way to get this back? I think I know who it might be but I have no other way of reaching that person. Is there a way to know who that was?

Am I signed in to Messenger ?    How do I direct other people to  MSN messnger   chat service ?

On Windows Live Messenger all I get is "Social’, when Messenger opened automatically I had news, sports, MSNnow I think I clicked on Social by accident, I wan’t that nice window back

When Windows Live Messnger opened up until about a week ago, I had selections MSN, News, Entertainment, this page used to be chock full of "what's happening now", I enjoyed it.  Now, for some reason in the upper left below my picture, all I can click on is Social.  Even then it says "loading" but never does.  Of course I'm not social at all.

 

I would like to have the page like it was, msn news which covered everthing, I think MSNnow, and right now I can't remember everything it had.  I've tried everything, can someone help me.

I already use Skype and do not need to merge my accounts or contacts. 
I have a paid for email address plus a Hotmail account all under Windows Live Mail. 
As far as I can determine I no longer require Live Messenger ... how can I delete this programme from my Windows 7 64bit pc?
