I can't send or save e-mails through windows live mail.  The local roadrunner representatives have attemped to help me, but it appears to be a microsoft issue.  Can someone please help?  The error I get is "the connection to server has failed"  error #0X800CCC0E  thanks.

While away I checked my wife'e emails. Now our contact lists are joined, how do I separate them?

Is it possible to email a contacts info, email address, etc  from Windows Live Mail contact list to another person?

We had a catastrophic failure on a dell that was 3 years old and had to reinstall everything. When we log in to Windows Live Mail, we have no history. There are no signs of emails received or sent. Sorry if this is a stupid question but is the email history stored on our PC (now wiped)? We thought it was remote so you could view your Windows Live Mail anywhere in the world. As well as trying to view Windows Live Mail on the old PC, we are using a new laptop too. Thanks
i have been  trying to open my indows live mail and i get a prompt that says password is incorrect, i know that the password IS correct but i still get the same prompt please advise

I can't find my storage folders after staples backed up my failed harddrive on my other computer to my new hp computer.

Talked with them and they only backed up my comcast supplier not live mail files.  Can I retrieve my storage files from microsoft live mail?

Thank you, Conna

original title : Windows Live Mail problem

Hi! I am trying to Contact Firedog regarding an issue related to Windows Liver Mail but the 'submit' function on the 'contact me' form on his page leads to a 'are you sure you want to do this?' page.

Please, I need some help - how can I get in touch?

Many thanks,
Camelia

Hello. If there is another forum where this topic belongs, please advise in which it should be. I use 64-bit Win7.  In Windows Live Mail program, Options>Advanced>Maintenance, there is a section for choosing to create a log for troubleshooting. Where does the log get put, and what size will it reach? I am actually interested in the log for News, not Mail, but I expect that they are both saved in the same place.Thanks.

<Windows 7>

I used Easy Transfer to switch from Windows XP Outlook Express to Windows 7 Live Mail.  The email messages transferred but there are no contacts listed.  I have signed into Live ID but still no contacts
