To put address of contacts with last name first in alphabetic order
how do I add a new contact that will consist of several people all at that address?  There are 5 members on a condo board for example and I want to call the contact blackstone condo for example?
I converted to Outlook (did not rename my account) and added an Outlook alias. When I send mail from my Live account, I don't see a way to set the default 'From Email ID' as my Outlook alias. I can set the reply to as the alias, but not the from ID. Is there some way to do this without renaming the account? I have a windows phone and don't want to go through all the stuff to reset the phone and put everything back on it somehow.
attachments(e-mail addresses and "read more") will not open and I get an error "application not found" This has just happened and I don't think I have changed anything.

Hi

I have Windows Live Mail installed on my PC and use it with my Hotmail Address and it also has my Calendar.

My wife used WLM on her PC for her Gmail address and also used the WLM Calendar.

Now my wife's PC has broken down and I have added her Gmail address to the WLM accounts on my PC, is there some way I can also add the

Calendar that was with the WLM on her PC?

Thanks

Daniel

My wlm account neither sends or receives email. It worked before and now it doesn't. It tells me there's a problem with my server address. I have never known what my server address is,but I never needed to because the account worked. I really don't see why I should go through all this convoluted ****. The emails I've needed to send are extremely urgent. If microsoft can't live up to it's name and insists on leaving me in the **** like this I'll use another account as default., After all, what good is an email account that doesn't do its job properly and makes it next to impossible to get help or contact. Big fail!
Downloading email is interrupted after about 2 minutes with an error message ending in...Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F. This is a recent problem. Telus says not their issue. How to fix in Windows 7? Running in compatible mode with Windows 7, have tried rolling back to June but no change. WLM vers 11.

Hi there everybody.

I am running a brand new 2 day old Windows 7 (64 bit) O/S. I have downloaded Widows live Essentials. In fact I have no interest in the other stuff

so I just installed Windows Live Mail 2012 (V 2012Build 16.4.3505.0912). I have set up my orange e-mail account correctly - the pop.orangehome.co.uk and smtp.orangehome.co.uk and all that data. I have just come off the phone after 90 minutes to orange support, who did exactly what I had already done to no avail......My incoming e-mails download from the server fine, but any attempt to send, be it new reply or forward fails with the following error message.

<<

The connection to the server has failed.

Subject 'test'
Server: 'smtp.orangehome.co.uk'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013

>>

Also my internet connection is through a Buffalo WBMR-G125 router - I do not use Orange live box

Orange seems to think that there is problem with the email client software (Live Mail 2012???). I suspect it has to be a firewall problem but can find nothing in Windows.

I have some experience of computer problems as I was a computer system administrator in a school and an OEM for 12 and a half years before retirement.

But this is a real stinker - if any more info is required please ask.

regards

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 over the weekend.  I was forced to do a PC refresh and re-install Windows 8 a second time in order for it to work on my laptop.  I find now that the PC refresh erased my Contacts from Windows Live Mail that I was using on Windows 7.  I am able to recover the Contacts files from my online backup prior to the upgrade.  But is there a way for me to import them into the People app or at least to open the file to get the info to manually add some of my contacts into people?  I have lost some important email addresses that I did not have stored elsewhere.  They were backed up.....
