I never use Windows Live Messenger, yet it's always running unless I use Task Mgr to turn it off. I'm afraid to delete it, but it's a hassle having it running and pinned to my taskbar.
Today I've gotten about 15 returned emails to yahoo account.  They look like this...

*** Email address is removed for privacy *** wants to be your friend on Windows Live Messenger

Some of them have the "wants to be your friend" part in Spanish.  Problem is that I haven't sent ANY invites.  Also, these are being sent to my yahoo account which isn't even inked to my Windows Live Messenger.  How can I stop this?  Is this a yahoo problem or a windows live problem?  Does this mean my live account got hacked?

I accidentally uninstalled windows live messenger a while ago, and no amount of attempts to download windows live essentials will bring it back. I noticed that the Outlook Pack, Bing Bar and Silverlight were not installed as well. WHAT IS WRONG T_T someone help me... running on 64bit windows 7.
I keep getting error number 0x802F0028 with Windows Live Messenger. I cannot use it to Facebook chat. I cleared the contact cache and this did not help at all. There is almost no online help for this error code other than this site. It seems to be working fine with social updates and whatnot, but I know that people are signed into facebook and they are not showing up as online. This all started when I applied an update from windows. I uninstalled the update but that did not reverse it.  HELP
**EDIT**
It seems to be working now, but I think it might help Microsoft to know that their recent update seemed to cause the problem.

I  had problem on the messenger and it wont uninstall ,so I used Revo Uninstaller.
After that I reinstall Windows live messenger but its still detect the messenger wich I had removed it by Revo !!

And I had no error message
