I can not open any file with MovieMaker in my PC since I installed Windows Essencials 2012

Windows 7 in my O.S. and Windows Live Essentials Version 16.4.3508.0205 installed this morning.

I was working with Movie Maker in my PC, trying to use it better for my tonight presentation.
So I entered the site and clicked on the Downloading box to upgrade the Windows Essentials 2012. Since it was installed all my MovieMaker Files do not open.
Please, I need an EMERGENCY solution for presenting them still tonight.
Lookiing forward your responsible answer.

I tried to install the Windows Essentials 2012 package, but only Skydrive got installed and Windows Live Writer was installed but didn't work.Other softwares which didn't install were Family Safety,Messenger, etc. How to install the whole package? And I've tried more than 5 times for installing it.

Hello!

I would like to know if the Windows Essentials desktop applications would be available for Windows 8.1.

Presently I am running Windows 8 Pro and am using the Windows Essentials 2012 desktop applications.

In any case, would I be able to run them after upgrading (or rather updating) to Windows 8.1 or would I have to install them again (as well as other desktop applications)?

Further, I have created two partitions on my PC's HDD and the SkyDrive desktop app' is installed on the 'D:' drive and now that SkyDrive would be integrated even more deeply on Windows 8.1, would it be possible for me to continue using SkyDrive over the 'D:' drive as I am using it now or do I have to create a new set-up (over the existing one) during the upgrade? Are there any chances of duplication of files during this process?

Furthermore, at present, I have more than 5 GB of files on my SkyDrive and after I upgrade to Windows 8.1, would all those files remain available for offline access or do I have to enable offline access for them individually?

That's all for now; I'll post more if required.

Thanks.

I have a calendar set up under Outlook 2010 and really need to import it into Windows Essentials 2012's Mail/Calendar.  How do I go about this?

Thank you

I have already:

uninstalled windows essentials 2012 and reinstalled it

removed my msn account from windows live mail and added it back

looked in my outbox for a stuck email and there was none

I cannot figure out what is wrong.  Can anybody help please!!!  I need my email for school.

I was so close to finishing up a video for birthday coming up...I saved the project and when I came back to it I can't get past the "Windows Essentials 2012" screen.  The file won't open nor with Windows Movie Maker.

I am now facing a time crunch and can't even restart the project since the program won't open.

I've tired to "fix" windows essentials 2012 from the Uninstall programs/control panel and it has not worked.

The download link on this page:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/essentials is not working.  It says the page cannot be displayed and suggests checking for a connection problem. There is no connection problem.
Photo Gallery crashes on slideshow, either on the first picture or sometimes on one of the first 10-15 pictures.
Windows Essentials 2012 Repair  didn't help.
Any ideas?

When I try to install Window Essentials 2012, I get these errors

Error:  0x80040607

Source:  crt110-amd64

and

Error:  0x80040155

Source:  package download task

Now it has partially installed the program, but not fully.  So I complete the installation, nor can I remove it!

Please, someone tell me how to fix it so that I can install Essentials 2012 on my computer.

Thanks!

Dan

If you ctrl alt delete and close from task manager it will open again.  This happends three of four times a day.
