Windows Live Mail FAQ
My Windows Live Mail (ver. 16.4.4406.1205) on Windows 8 does not have a toolbar. I can't select such common commands as Send, Receive, Print (must use control P), reply all, etc.
How can I get the Toolbar to display.

My old laptop died. It ran Windows 7. I got a new Dell laptop with Windows 8. Is there any way to get my old emails? I used same Hotmail email address on old machine as I now use on Windows 8.

I had many emails in folders in Windows 7. Now those emails do not exist in Windows 8.
Could you please help I cannot get windows live mail to work in Updated Windows 8, at the moment I do not have any mail client in windows 8 as the inbuilt windows mail in windows 8 will not support POP.
Could you please help I know Outlook will work but it's expensive so what options do I have if some one could give me any information I would be greatful all my accounts are linked to my e-mail adress so it's important that I retain my e-mail address.

I have just bought a new laptop which comes with Windows 8 already installed.
In Windows 8, on my Hotmail email page, there is no place to create a new folder. I have right-clicked using the mouse, nothing shows up.
When I swipe from bottom up, there appears a few options like, Sync, Pin It, Move, etc, but no icon for New Folder.
How do I create a new folder to organize my emails?
Does anyone know how to do this? Please help.
