My Outlook Email account has my Hotmail email address, but has an old "outgoing mail server (stmp)" and "incoming mail server" information. What is the new description I need to put into these boxes, to get my email sent from Outlook to Hotmail.

Hello all,
I just installed Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 (It says so on the installation DVD too.) Chart on the back of the box says that the Home & Student version did not include Outlook, which is also why I purchased it. After installing Office
on my MacBook Pro Retina by following all of the standard prompts, it did install Outlook. I did not expect that. How can I remove it. Do I need to do a full uninstall of the entire office Suite, then select a "custom" install when re-installing it or something
like that?
I have just purchased Office 2011 for Mac. I have an outlook.com webmail address that I want to access via this desktop application.
Having searched online I cannot believe what I read, that I cannot sync my existing email folders with my desktop version of Outlook? If this is the case then I guess I will have to set up a gmail account instead... but surely this cannot be true? Outlook
will not synch with outlook.com ??
Any suggestions for how to get this to work would be much appreciated!
When I add a contact in Outlook, it does get replicated to Apple's "Contacts" but not to the iPhone. In Contacts, it shows up when I click "All on my Mac" but not in iCloud.
In summary...
- when I add a contact on the iPhone, it shows up in Contacts but not in Outlook.
- when I add a contact in Outlook, it shows up in Contacts but not the iPhone.
- when I add a contact in Contacts, it shows up in Outlook but not the iPhone
Is there a way to keep them all the same (and in sync)?
I have all boxes checked in synched services. My iTunes says contacts should sync over the air via iCloud.

Hello,
I have had previous versions of Microsoft Outlook for Dell computers. The past few versions have all had a feature that has become essential for me. When using the general search function, if I typed in a few words it scanned text in the body of the emails,
but also in attachments such as Excel, Word and PDF.
I have not been able to figure out how to do this on my 2011 for Mac. When I type in some words to search it only scans the body of the email and not any attachments. This is very difficult to use as is for my business.
Is there some sort of setting I need to change to make the search function more robust? I tried adding Excel, Word and Adobe in Spotlight Privacy and then removing them to re-index, but that did not work.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
My hotmail live.com email suddenly went to Outlook Express - I do not want Outlook, and I do not want the "suggested adds" section that accompanies this. I believe this happened when Chase Bank online started up for me today, and without informing me
also connected to my cellphone. I do not want tech clutter, and try to keep a clean system with only what I choose to use.
