Outlook 2011 connecting to Exchange 2010. Full patched Outlook and Exchange server.
Plain Text email format.
I want to send someone a link, such as:
http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828118627&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-_-pla-_-Printer+-+Laser+Printers-_-N82E16828118627&gclid=CPf4oZWPgrUCFUjZQgodV0sALQ
The resulting link breaks up after 80 odd characters, in the case above, after the "&nm" part. So my link ends up looking like:
http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828118627&nm
_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-_-pla-_-Printer+-+Laser+Printers-_-
N82E16828118627&gclid=CPf4oZWPgrUCFUjZQgodV0sALQ
Because of the broken up link, only the first line is clickable. So my recipients get "link not found" errors because they are only able to click on a portion of the link.
(Note that the above link to the newegg business site is actually smart enough to know what I want to see without needing the remaining characters of the link, but that's because of the newegg's webserver acting intelligently - outlook 2011 is still breaking
up the link)
If I send this link to a gmail user, the link is fine. If I send it to another Outlook 2011 user, or if I look in my Sent items, the link is broken.
How do I fix this?
I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and now I'm having trouble with OUTLOOK and WORD freezing up ... I get the beach ball every 60 seconds. Anyone else experiencing this? If yes, what can we do about it?
When others in my company and those out side my company paste an image into a email body. And I open the email on my Macbook, with Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011, version 14.2.5. The images in the body of the email will not appear in the body. Instead
I get a box with a question mark in it. Or I will see there is a unnamed bitmap as an attachment. For instance if the image was a screen shot someone was sending, it will so there is a attached bitmap, but will not render the image in the body of the email
it was embedded in.
What can I do to make these images show up and render in the body of the email as intended?

Hi folks,
I have 6 shared calendars open and with this - I get the spinning beach ball approx every 15 secs and I'm unable to do ANYTHING for around 5 secs. It's rendering Outlook unusable for me.'
I followed some advice in another thread to try and isolate the issue - 5 or 6 steps ranging from deleting preferences .plist files to selectively removing Office-specific files but none of them positively affected the situation.
I stumbled across the workaround (to remove all shared calendars) after noticing that Outlook was downloading calendar data from most of the calendars very frequently and repetitively (i.e., I can't imagine changes at the frequency that was occurring).
However - I still need access to these shared calendars - so looking for advise on how to resolve this issue.
Thanks!
Tony.
Hola. Tengo un Iphone 5 y quiero que el calendar de mi Outlook MAC se sincronize con el calendar de mi Iphone. Que puedo hacer ?
Hi there,
we successfully imported user images into active directory, and Outlook 2011 properly displays them. However, if we upload a new picture of a User, Outlook 2011 does not recognize the change and keeps displaying the old picture.
Does anybody have a solution for this behaviour?
Thanks!
Best,
Tim
My Macbook air, OSX v 10.7.5 running Office 2011 14.2.5 for Mac will not sync emails in my Inbox with our hosted Exchange Server. My other 2 x Windows machines are fine. The calendars and contacts seem to be OK. I have looked at the support forum and l
rebuilt the database as suggested but it still does not sync. Does anyone have a solution?
How do I create a rule where Outlook automatically replies to an email with an attachment if a specific subject line is used? Please note I want the auto reply to contain an attachment NOT for the rule to be triggered if receiving an email with an attachment.
Thanks.
I have a Macbook (new in 2012). My Outlook continues to freeze for long periods of time, making it unusable. I use it for a Microsoft Exchange account for work. I have co-workers with the same computer, that do not have the same issue. Also, there
is a syncing issue, if an email is deleted from my Mac, it does not delete on the Exchange/PC/Phone.
Thanks!
