How I going to access my outlook after update from hotmail

Last week I update my hotmail and change to outlook, but why i cant use the outlook email address to log in/sign in MSN?

As all of my friend are using the outlook email address to log in/sign in after updated and the old address (hotmail) cannot be use to log in/sign in MSN.

Am I miss one step on this matter?

how can i cancel OUTLOOK and keep hotmail as my default email?

I really do not like OUTLOOK yet I have to reset it to hotmail every time i log in! How can have hotmail (which is what i have always had!) as my default setting? It's a nuisance having to reset from OUTLOOK every time I log on!

keep getting Mail could not be sent error code -8796

I have outlook 2011 for mac. I also have mountain lion. My email works fine, but this error message keep popping up even though I can send mail without a problem.

I've tried changing my smtp settings according to the help I've found here, but I cannot find this particular error code: -8796.

I also have lion on my laptop, with the exact same account set up and am not having any issues on my laptop, just my tower.

What can I do to stop the unknown error alert that keeps popping up every time mail is checked?

Identity rebuild confusion-Outlook for Mac 2011-urgent

1) Problem: I confess to having blithely moved my "Microsoft User Data" files out of Documents to a place more friendly to the average uninformed user (the Applications folder as, at the time, it seemed like "program stuff", not "my stuff". I lament my hastiness, repent, and plead your help).

Looks like my Outlook data files are intact but the rebuilds, the common ways, are not working (Including the move of the database file to the desktop before trying the rebuild, per Diane of Oregon). Either way I do it, rebuild runs very fast (a few seconds, on a '08 MacBook Pro), and then tells me that rebuild was successful. But when I reopen Outlook, it's still the generic "fresh start" identity, not Main or mine.

I am a simple non-Exchange/non-IMAP, POP3 email, "isolated user". I'm running "Office:Mac 2011 Academic".

3) Question: Before I try this riskier way: http://www.officeformachelp.com/outlook/troubleshoot/#duplicate, which is a little unclear as it is, and given my basically simple-cause scenario, what else could I try first?

My Mom is 87 and uses the computer daily. She doesn't like (nor do I) the new Outlook style. How can I change us both back to the old style on Hotmail?

For seniors, changes such as these are not helpful......

Hi,

i was instructed to redirect my issue to this forum

it seems like there is restricted access to my account. i am not able to use windows live mail ( desktop client ) to sign in and read mails the only way i can access it is my going via outlook.com. I am also not able to log in via my android phone, i am using the official hotmail app but with no success

when i try to log in via windows live mail i receive the following error :

Server Error: 3206
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

perhaps this is useful.

could you please look into whether my account access has been restricted in some way.

Outlook 2011 for Mac. Shared mailbox does not group with other accounts.

Moving emails to subfolders

For some reason today I can't move emails from my inbox in Outlook to my subfolders. Usually works fine. I am dragging and holding the email and nothing happens. Even rightclicking and move isnt working. I am using Outlook for mac 2011.

why do I have a 5 attachment limit? this seems to be a common problem.
I have used Hotmail for years then a while ago it stopped allowing more than 5 attachments. When I switched to the new Outlook version of Hotmail it allowed to send more than 5 at least once and now that I have urgent flight details to forward it won't allow me to send more 5.
