I've searched the prior questions, and I've seen lots of other Hotmail users having safe email messages (some even from Microsoft) marked as "very suspicious" when the sender is both in the address book and on the safe sender list.  I'm still having this problem even though in some threads here it says this problem has been fixed.  It clearly has not for me.
My primary email address has seemingly been compromised by a Russian.  Microsoft will not hand over a reset due to lacking enough information.  My iPhone is dependent of this email even,  I get errors constantly stating my Hotmail account is incorrect.  I can still use my Twitter that is on the email.  What can I do?
W8. In order to make my computer trusted I had the help of a tech support of MS gentleman. There was a problem with the password. I got my computer to be trusted under {removed} my old account was {removed}. When I try to enter in the new e-mail  e-mail account however it takes me to the old address. It prompts me   to enter a password for the old account. I enter the password I had for that account and it does not works.n, therefore I can not access my new e=mail. I have been trying to get help from Microsoft  and I have being in 5 different  departments and they keep sending me to another department until the last one told me that they do not have support for Hotmail and they told me that may account is free and therefore...? It is a Catch 22 situation. I think I am going to throw W8 away and go back to W7. I am  very frustrated.
i received an email from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** asking me to reply them my ID PASS SEcurity que and ans pretending them to be Microsoft. And it said if not provided with the info they might block my account. please tell me that is it an authentic mail or not... please tell me that is it an authentic mail or not..
The mail reads as follow

As I stated I keep getting a message on top of my inbox in a yellow band saying that something is wrong with my EMail and microft will contact me
Have MacBook Pro and work off an exchange server (Rackspace).

Just recently I can no longer search Contacts for known contacts; nor can I build Contact Group lists.  I was able to do both until last week.  And of course this makes it very difficult to construct a mass email for an announcement (eg 750 names)--essentially I have to write in each name vs simply pointing and clicking.

Note Rackspace confirms that problem is local--eg they could search my contact list from their end.

I should also point out that I've Microsoft Office folks have 2x know over the past month worked on my Outlook manually for problems with stalled Outlook.  The problems I outline above resulted only following working with Microsoft last week to correct frozen Outlook.  I called today and they now refer me to this portal, because I "work off an exchange server".  All rather frustrating.

Pls advise . . .

Thanks.

Outlook (Office Mac 2011/v14.2.3) worked fine, until updated Office [on a MBPro/OS X.7.5] -- now Outlook either immediately aborts, or hangs/fails to connect to server ["Not responding"]; Word and Excel both work fine.  Rebuilt Microsoft Database (twice!), rebooted MBPro several times, but no improvement -- Any brilliant suggestions?
