I know this is kind of "old school" but I like the security of it and haven't found it in the options for Mail. I might just have missed it. I don't want a preview pane and I don't want whatever message I am on to come up in the same area as the list of emails. I want it to come up in it's own window (yes, a pop-up, for those who have been there, think AOL Mail). I do use an email client usually and have this feature enabled by default, but I can't do this from the main area of Hotmail, that I've found.

Do I need to submit this as a suggestion? Is it already available and I just haven't found it? And will it be an available feature in Outlook.com? I'm still in the market for a good email to stick with and this is a feature that I'm really stuck on.

Thanks!

When I'm check my inbox from a desktop computer, the email message time received and sent is off. Eventhough my desktop time is correct, the email times are not. Where or how can I fix this.

I believe my Hotmail account has been compromised – (removed for privacy).

When I logged on recently my account looked like a completely new account. All I have is a welcome message from the Hotmail Team, and I have lost all my contacts as well as my correspondences for the past six years.

My questions are as follows:

1. How can I confirm my account has been compromised? And what can/should I do about it?

2. How do I get back all my historic correspondences and contacts?

3. Can I simply close this account and re-open a new account with all my historic correspondences and contacts copied across? How would I do this?

4. I am fearful that someone may be using the original account under my name. This I clearly want to stop immediately, will closing this account achieve this is there something else I need to do? I need to ensure no one is using my account and name without my permission.

5. Finally, how can I stop this happening to my new account?

6. Why and by whom has the account been closed?

I can not get my signature automatically when replying a message. Can anybody help?
Several weeks ago, I posted a question regarding inability to print some (not all) emails. I have had several replies, mostly requesting further information. Each time i have attempted to provide a better explanation, my email has been rejected by the "Postmaster" even though I have utilized the link provided (to "Windows Answers". ) Extremely frustrating, to say the least, in that some of the responses have been quite lengthy. Why does this happen? And more important, how do I get my message back past the postmaster?

I delete _a_lot_ of emailed calendar invitations.

When I delete them (just by hitting the delete button on the screen, it emails EVERYONE on the invite list that I declined.

Most of these meetings are informational only; I don't have to attend or decline them - just be notified that they are going to happen.

How do I get Outlook to not message everyone when I delete an event invitation?

I'M TRYING TO SEND A 6 PAGE NEWSLETTER TO BAOUT 80 ADDRESSES. I GOT A MESSAGE BACK THAT TELLS ME THAT MY EMAIL WASN'T SENT TO ANYONE BECAUSE IT IS TOO LONG. THE MESSAGE SAYS THAT THERE IS A LIMIT OF 12MB AND MY MSG IS 23MB. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THERE WAS A LIMIT AND IF THERE IS CAN IT BE CHANGED AND HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING IT. I JUST GOT ANOTHER EMAIL FROM ONE OF THE RECIPENTS WHO APPARENTLY RECIEVED THE MSG SO WHAT GIVES.
When I click on In Box I keep getting a Error on Page message in the lower left corner of page. This only occurs on my desktop. I can sign in and check in box on my cell phone
