Inbox is completely wiped out.

I use the account daily and noticed after running a separate program and coming back to Hotmail (via Chrome) a pop up message saying something about "you must select a message to perform this action" kept repeatedly appearing.  I shut down Chrome and now my inbox is empty.  All files in folders are intact.

It looks like some kind of cleanup was happening but I didn't select this option.  Any help?

I know this is kind of "old school" but I like the security of it and haven't found it in the options for Mail. I might just have missed it. I don't want a preview pane and I don't want whatever message I am on to come up in the same area as the list of emails. I want it to come up in it's own window (yes, a pop-up, for those who have been there, think AOL Mail). I do use an email client usually and have this feature enabled by default, but I can't do this from the main area of Hotmail, that I've found.

Do I need to submit this as a suggestion? Is it already available and I just haven't found it? And will it be an available feature in Outlook.com? I'm still in the market for a good email to stick with and this is a feature that I'm really stuck on.

Outlook not updating changes to the server

Outlook 14.2.3 and Mtn Lion 10.8, 
Inbox is not updating changes to the server, new messages come in but any items that are deleted or moved are not updated on the server.  
I have emptied Cache several times and this is not working.  
IPhone mail is working fine and mirrors the server so its a sync issue of some kind from Outlook. Please help?

I have two people who are asking for me to "friend" them in the messenger part of my email and I don't know who they are and the worst part is one has a **** picture of a little girl and I am outraged by this. How do I report this abuse?????? and get these kind of people that will spend eternity in **** off my messenger? Please help, jodimomof5 I can't believe this kind of horror exists.

I am getting message via hotmail that my account cannot be verified

This is the second notice I have received sayin my account cannot be verified, maybe due to recent changes in address, etc. They gave me a link to go to to fix this and verify my account. I am suspicious that this is some kind of scam or maleware so I did not open the link. I have not had any problems receiving or sending mail so I can't imagine that there is a problem with my account.

Please let me know if this sounds ligit or if it is a scam
