Pics a no-show in emails

In my Hotmail emails, the pics  do not show but have an x in the upper corner. This is in Hoosier Lottery emails and a few others but not all.

Is there a fix for this? I had this once befor and don't remember how to fix it. Thanks.

my email is the one chosen and win the the said amount of money? is this real or scam?

i received an email stating that my email was randomly selected on computerized selection machine and win the said amount from YAHOO & WINDOWS LIVE prize money.

This Lottery is approved by the South African/British Gaming Board and also Licensed by the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).This lottery is the 3rd of its kind and we intend to sensitize the public.
