Cannot add a POP or IMAP email account

I just installed Office for Mac 2011 on a new MacBook Pro Retina (2.3GHz, version 10.7.4). When I go to Add an Account, I am unable to add a POP or IMAP email account. When I click on the icon next to the E-mail Account, nothing happens, and I have to force quit Outlook as the window as the Account window becomes stuck. The button for the Exchange Account works as does Directory Service. I've tried uninstalling Office for Mac and re-installing it from the original DVD (both with and without the updates) but I keep getting the same result.

Also, when I do click on the E-mail Account button, all of the other buttons go dead (except for the minimize button) which is why I have to force quit.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've used this same DVD on another computer with no issues but for some reason, can't figure this out.

I switched from Comcast to RCN and now I cannot send email from Outlook for Mac 2011,

My version is 14.0.0. Mac can't help, RCN can't help.....I can send and receive from my iPad. Just now my incoming mail quit on my Mac as well.......

Moving email from "ON MY COMPUTER" to Mailserver

We have recently moved move our users to O365 and now we have 26GB mailboxes I would like users to move there mail into the cloud from their machines. If you right click a folder and select "Move folder…" you are not able to select the inbox in the cloud. This would be the preferred option other than dragging them.

Any suggestions?

Hotmail on my HTC One X

Why can I receive all of my Hotmail messages and sync my hotmail account on my HTC One X but not send new maeesages or reply to messages ?

All I get is the message 'Unable to send mail (hotmail.com)', my corporate account works fine using Outlook and mail exchange.

folders have gone from my inbox without me deleating

windows live mail and my folders from my in box have go and my contacts wondering how to get them back. i didn't deleate them or not in deleated folder

i can’t send photos as an attachment from internet explorer. it states windows live mail error ID:0x8ccc0003

When I attempt to send an attachment with an email. I can't send it. I get the message: Server'smtp.att.yahoo.com....windows live mail error id:0x8ccc0003...protocol:SMTP....port 465

any suggestions on how i can fix this?

Can the From:" " be the name of my saved contact instead of the one the sender has?

I have a client that wants that all of his messages from his inbox, instead of appearing in the "From:" the name of the sender that the sender stated on his mail, he wants to name my client saved on his contacts..

For example:

John Eugene Gates sends an email to my client, I have in my contacts saved John Eugene Gates with his email, John has in his email application only "John", so when I receive an email from him, I will only see "John", is there a way that Oulook for Mac goes to my contacts, if he see that same email address, then it will display "John Eugene Gates" as I have it, instead of the one the user has?

Windows Live Mail

After connecting, Windows Live Mail shows we are receiving emails but they don't show up in Inbox. I can send from the account, just can't see the emails that have been received. Where are they?

Outlook 2011 for Mac exchange server issues

I have set up Outlook for the Mac and have used an exchange server (since this is a corporate email). I don't see any help files on how to manage email on the server? In the prior Windows Office it's easy to tick a box leaving the mail on the server and one can manually manage removing mail down from the server and onto the local computer. I use a Blackberry and need to keep mail on the server, but once the amount gets too big one needs to remove the mail onto the local client. I would be grateful for advise on how to best manage server mail and of bringing mail off the server.

I received an e-mail from "Windows live customer care", captioned "account renewal, final notice, asking for my name and password, indicating account would be shut down. is this mail from Windows Live or is this scam ??? Please reply.I have attached the message I received.
