Windows Live Mail 2012

Under:  Quick Views - All email

1) select an email to delete

problem: email is no longer immediately deleted. The red X on top grays out and you no longer can open or read that email (receive error message) but remains visible in the  Quick view - All email tab selected pane

expected : email to be removed immediately to the appropriate accounts deleted items folder like before

work around : select any other quick view tab or account tab and then reselect:  quick views - All email . Email is now sent to the proper deleted items folder and no longer shown.

2) Receive an email notification sound

problem: if in : Quick Views -All email  The email does not show up until selecting another side tab (Accounts -inbox/Junk/sent etc or any OTHER Quick views tab) and reselecting: Quick views - All email the incoming email will now be displayed.

expected: Email to show as soon as notification is received

Additional info

Delete works and emails show up correctly if any other tab under Quick Views is selected (unread mail/ all inbox/ all sent)  or under the different email account tabs (Inbox/drafts/sent items/junk email) it only happens when in the (All email) view under  (Quick Views)

I would really appreciate someone's help.  I rely totally on my email account.  After doing a big cleanup on my email account, a day later I have stopped receiving any new emails.  This is now over 5 days ago.  I can send email but anyone who tries to send me an email gets a delivery failure notification.  I access my email through the browser on my work laptop but it also stopped receiving emails on my phone at the same time.  I have tried to use a different browser and a different PC this does not work either.

I really need to resolve this please help.
I have not been able to send an email or picture from my mobile device since last Friday from my live.com account. If I try to send something or forward or reply to any incoming email, it says Cannot Send Mail:  The user name or password for "SMTP:  my *** Email address is removed for privacy ***@smtp.live.com" is incorrect.   I have checked everything that I know how to check and have updated my passwords and made sure there weren't any changes or anything wrong.  I am receiving all incoming, I simply can't respond or send.  Has the Outgoing Host Name of the server changed from smtp.live.com and I simply need to put a new outgoing server name in my device.  Thanks for any assistance, as I use this phone regularly for work and have been stuck since last week.
Hello - I can send out just fine but I am not receiving incoming emails since last night.  If I send myself a test email it goes out just fine, others receive my test emails, but I don't receive my incoming email.  Your system status says everything is OK.  Can you help?
whenever we have a power outage, or even a small power blip, my email get totally screwed up and I can no longer see any embedded images in my incoming email.  I have checked and rechecked all the settings, repaired Windows Live Mail, and even updated to Windows Live 2012.  How can I fix this?  I haven't had a technician yet who has been able to resolve this problem.

Hi

I have an incoming email to Outlook.com that was sent as html and seems to have been converted to plain text. (Corrupted)
My setup is: Incoming emails go to an email server then to outlook.com then to outlook 2013

The email on the "email server" is in html
The email on outlook.com is in plain text (Corrupted)
And also is the email on outlook 2013

When I download the email from the email server to outlook 2013 it comes out correctly.

Organize your incoming email by applying this rule Step 1:

Which messages do you want this rule to apply to?

Create rule  Send to junk ("cheap Auto Insurance")

("cheap Auto Insurance")   What is soooo special about this, that a message that contains this cannot be excluded from the in-box???
I'm having the following problems.

1) With Live Mail open and with Inbox highlighted, an incoming email is announced by sound and by the bracketed (1) opposite Inbox folder name. However, its details (From Subject Date etc) do not automatically appear in the Inbox contents. To achieve this I have to click on a different folder and then return to Inbox.

2) An associated problem is that on deleting an email from the contents list of any folder, the email itself gets deleted but its From Subject Date etc remain in the list. As above I have to access a different folder and then return before the list is updated.

I've had to re-install everything from scratch after a recent hardware problem. The previous installation of Live Mail didn't have this problem. I've tried removing and re-installing Windows Essentials subsequently but the problems persists. Any suggestions?
