1) With Live Mail open and with Inbox highlighted, an incoming email is announced by sound and by the bracketed (1) opposite Inbox folder name. However, its details (From Subject Date etc) do not automatically appear in the Inbox contents. To achieve this
I have to click on a different folder and then return to Inbox.
2) An associated problem is that on deleting an email from the contents list of any folder, the email itself gets deleted but its From Subject Date etc remain in the list. As above I have to access a different folder and then return before the list is
updated.
I've had to re-install everything from scratch after a recent hardware problem. The previous installation of Live Mail didn't have this problem. I've tried removing and re-installing Windows Essentials subsequently but the problems persists. Any suggestions?
