Left a "comment" with hotmail months ago concerning several email contacts that appear only during drop-down box selection when electing to send a new message that I did NOT add to my contacts.

Today, although I could sign-in and see my inbox page I, no access was allowed.  Only message was a Windows dialog box that stated an IE issue.  Then, it "recovered" the page (hotmail site) and then loops these messages continuously.

NO hotmail specific messages given.

NO trouble with other websites, file or folders on my computer.

Cannot delete suspect contacts which include:

DrunkGirlRoom
FunRoom
HornyGirlHere
I LOVE ANIMALS
SexyChickRoom

Have done the following:

changed hotmail PW (as has been done in the past)

ran:

Microsoft Safety Scanner 1.0.3001.0

McAfee

Malwarebytes

Registry scanner

ALL above cover anti-virus, malware, spyware and "other" threat scans in duplicity. Further, most recent update for each program was used during scans.

ONLY hotmail.com is the problem.

Access to hotmail is an intermittant issue so the extra contacts must somehow be able to be deleted.

Please advise

Original title: Outlook 2011 for Mac woes

I have been using Outlook 2007 on a PC.  I am not trying to use Outlook 2011 on a Mac.  I have all my mailboxes (current and some older ones I created when the mailbox got too big) in On My Computer and I have a single inbox.  So when I receive a message, I can move it to the folder I want in my current "mailbox".  But when I send a message, I don't have the option of saving to a folder that I select at the time I am composing the message.  Instead, it either saves to "Sent", where I have to move it later, or I can create a rule that will always save to a folder I name.  What I would like it to do is prompt for the folder name at the time I am composing the message.  Just like Outlook 2007.  Why would they remove this useful feature?

I sent an email containing a song to a contact yesterday but their inbox was full. I keep getting emails from the mail delivery system saying "A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error.". I have been receiving these emails every few minutes for about 17 hours and they won't stop. Also, my contact has now cleared their inbox and they keep receiving my email. Could you please tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks

I have a number of folders "On My Computer" - I used to be able to move messages from my Inbox to these folders: it's the way I keep my old messages organized. Today, however, I tried it and the messages won't move; they just 'snap back' to the Inbox. I've tried rebuilding my Identity database (holding down option key while starting Outlook) but this doesn't seem to help the issue.

I did have a POP account with gmail, which I changed to an IMAP account, and I added an additional IMAP account. But that was days and days ago and I know that I've moved messages during that time.

Any help would be most welcome!

Hi all,

I've been trying to close out my hotmail acct for a month now.  I signed up for forwarding all mail from hotmail  to the other acct   Everytime I sign into hotmail, there are more messages in my email inbox. Not new messages, but older one's and there are 50+ of them.  I don;t know where they come from. They are definitely my emails, but were they forwarded or not?

Hotmail only allows for forwarding 1 email at a time.  Isn't there any easier way to go about this?  It just seems to drag on and on.

Also, once I close down my hotmail acct, will the messages continue to be forwarded to my new acct?

Gee, years ago I could just pick up the phone and call a company and speak to a real person who could give me an immediate answer and I would be thru with this in five minutes instead of a month.  Companies have cut off access from their customers.  Now we have to resort to asking questions about the company from other confused customers.  Sometimes you get an answer and sometime you are left howling into the wind...............

Why can't we go to the source (the company who makes up the rules)?????

We've let the corporations get away with too much for too long.

Hello,

I like the idea that any email from Hotmail inbox can be converted into a Hotmail calendar item. I am talking about a user story where - User logs into the hotmail account, views an email and wants to mark that viewed email as an - i) event or ii) reminder or iii) task. I am not asking Outlook to be opened up like this, infact I am not sure if Outlook has this kind of a feature.

Thanks in advance.
