When I click on messenger email notifications it opens Windows Live mail, how do I change it to open email in hotmail (online)?

I used to click on 'email inbox new messages' icon in messenger and it would open a tab for hotmail, now it opens Windows Live Mail (which I hate) and I don't recall ever changing the settings. I've looked everywhere to change the settings but can't find it, can anyone help. I'm using Firefox browser.

URGENT! All my emails & folders have disappeared

I haven't logged in to my hotmail account for a while and today I was surprise to find out that all my emails and folders since 97 have disappeared, can you please assist?

note - I have tried the 'recover deleted messages' feature but it didn't help

tengo cuenta en hotmail, hace unos dias la pase a outlook y desde ese dia no puedo ingresar a mi messenger con hotmail desde mi blackberry y tampoco recibo los correos de hotmail.

I have a hotmail account since 1998. Two days ago when I started my hotmail sesion in the Hospital where I work, suddenly changed the configuration to Outlook, in a basic mobile version.

Other people in my work with Hotmail accounts haven't had the same problem, and they continue with the access to the hotmail page without problems. It's very difficult to work with the Outlook basic version, and I would like to know how could I get back my old hotmail main menu. Thanks.

Missing accounts

When I sign in to live mail on line the files for all my email addresses are there with their e-mails. When I log onto my PC the e-mail accounts are missing and after I read the e-mails everything that is not hotmail or unread becomes inaccessible. How can I fix this ??

I have seen so many questions and answers about problems with Outlook.com. I don't want all this. I don't want to get into this business of transferring contacts and emails to Outlook.com.

I have an easier issue.

Can I continue to use my Hotmail address on Outlook.com indefinitely? Will I sometime in the future be forced to change my email address from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to name @Outlook.com?
