how do i turn (removed for privacy) ,just rest password wise, back into english;is in some other language
I have tried several things to change my email from Arabic to English.  It keeps going back to Arabic, it will not save it to English.  Every link that microsoft has sent to me has failed. I have called the help center 3 different times and they seem to not know what they are talking about.  Is there anyone out there that really knows what is going on and how to deal with this????

VERY FRUSTRATED THERESA

Greetings.

In another thread titled "Language Package, spelling check for Windows Mail 6.0", in response to the spellchecker problem of the Original Poster somebody suggested using Windows Live Mail because it supports more languages (37, it said, though it was a two years old thread). Around the Internet, I've seen that many people have trouble finding the options for changing languages and tutorials have been provided to show how to do that. However, in all those tutorials everybody seems to have dozens of languages in the list in the options panel for spellcheck, with those installed marked as such and those not installed but listed marked as "available".

My question is, why don't I have those options? I have used WLM 2009 under XP and 2011 under Seven, both English and Italian (my native language), and the first only comes with pre-installed English languages (variations for US, UK, Canada and Australia), and the second comes with the same plus Italian. But if I want to install Spanish or German, say, there simply is no option. The list is limited to those I've mentioned, the buttons to its side are all dimmed, the only choice I have is which one to set as the default. Why is that so? Why isn't there a way to install all those other languages? Or is this feature limited to the 2011 version only? And why would that be, since it's only available from Vista upwards and tons of people, businesses and administrations are still stuck with XP?

I've seen around a few tutorials to manually install languages by moving some files and editing some ini files, but first I'd need the actual files containing the languages I want to use, and I assume these should be available somehow through the MS Download site. Or am I supposed to download each localized version of the WLEssentials, pick it apart and extract the files on my own? Isn't there a more straightforward option?

Thanks in advance for any input on the subject, best regards.

my msn social/msn is in spanish, how do i change to english

still looking for an answer on how to change hotmail from chineze to english, can't read anything for options all in chineze

I am using English exchange to connect to a korean exchange server.  When I get an email the from and to fields show as korean.  I have tried adding them to my local address book to see if I can force it to show english but that does not work.  Is there a setting somewhere I am missing that will force this to happen?

IT does not appear to be exchange.  If I get an email using apple mail or mailmate it shows as korean unless they are in my address book.  Outlook doesnt appear to do this.

I have Windows Live Mail 2012 running on Windows 7 SP1 Honme Edtion 64 bit.  I have English Canada selected as

my language in both Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail 2012, with my keyboard set to English U.S.  Whenever I type an email and send it, all letters and words are fine and appear sas they should.  I use the spelling checcker, etc.

Howver, when I then look at the email I sent, in the Sent Folder, the words are a mess of English and weird (some French) symbols!  Why is this?

I have tried changing all language settings to English U.S. and keyboard U.S. in BOTH Win 7 and Live Mail, but the problem persists.  When I receive e-mails, they are fine, it's only e-mail I have sent, and then ONLY what is in my sent ffolder, not the actual e-mail anyone has received!!!

HELP!  This is driving me nuts!

Our hotmail was set up in English, and is now in Chinese characters.  We can read our messages, but not the folders or drop-downs.  Since we can't read Chinese, if there's a language fix, we can't find it.  We can't read the delete, reply, send or any other functions.   This seemed to coincide with a Facebook password change, but we're not sure how one could have completely changed the other.  And I can't find a way to get support to help me directly!  If anyone can help, we'd appreciate it.

Is there a translator available somewhere in Hotmail?

When I tried to access my Hotmail account on my laptop, last week, I was asked to sign in as normal, but my password was not accepted. I went through the normal procedure to recover my account, but when I checked my place of residence was Morocco instead of the UK.
Since then I have been able to read my e-mails, but the page is displaying in French, the e-mails still appear in English.  Can someone please help me to change the basic page information back to English, as French was never my best subject at school.

Can anyone suggest what may have caused this problem, as I have been a Hotmail user for nearly 20 years, and I have never had a problem before.

Thank you in anticipation for your help.
