Here are some ways to help you manage your account after you reconfirm your account.

Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your in-box will be that much smaller.
Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hot mail account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.

Account dialog stuck, what now?

I just purchased Office for Home and Business. During the install I did not create an account. After importing a small .pst file, I went to create an account. The Accounts dialog came up with 2 buttons available, Exchange Account and Email Account. I pressed Email Account. The button seemed to react, but then nothing happened. And nothing continues to happen. I cannot dismiss the dialog box, I can only minimize it. What rational application does that?

Not only can't I dismiss the dialog, I can't quit Outlook. If I do command-Q the dialog pops up. All elements on the dialog are dead. None react at all. What the heck is going on here?

How can I close a hotmail account created by someone pretending to be me?

My email account was hacked and this con artist created a hotmail account pretending to be me. This person wrote a scam mail, and when people who were scammed (my friends) replied, those mails were routed to the hotmail account. This guy gave my friends directions of how to send money. I want to close this account, but since I didn't create the account, I couldn't. Is there anything I can do?
