Removing old e-mail addresses from TO address selection. Contact list has been changed but the old address still appeares as a choice. How do you delete old address from computer.
I want to re-subscribe to MSN dial up; however, microsoft does not recognize my computer and gives me a non-existent e-mail address to receive a code, so I cannot log into my current account. How do I fix this?
I used to get a little pop-up window and sound when an email was received. Since a Windows update a while ago it has disappeared completely. (Vista)
I have just bought Microsoft Office with Outlook for Mac as I didn't like Entourage and its inability to link with hotmail like Outlook does on a PC. However I have now found that Outlook on a Mac doesn't link with Hotmail either!
I have tried to use a Gmail account, to transfer my hotmail account to then use Outlook to sync to, as Gmail is IMAP and Hotmail is only POP. As I understand it this is the issue?
What I am now having problems with is:
- Under On My Computer / Inbox / Gmail it has downloaded all of my emails, through all of my folders. 900 and counting! Then lower down where it says Gmail and then has all of my folders, there is nothing in this Inbox. How can I get it to just show the
emails in my inbox and not the ones I have already filed?
- On hotmail I have got my folders organised with subfolders also, this has not carried through to Gmail nor subsequently Outlook. Is there a solution to this? I.E I have a main folder for 'Personal' then under that there would be one for 'Finance', 'Sport'
etc.
Really disappointed with Outlook for Mac as it just doesn't do as it does on a PC and everything else on Apple products seem to work so seamlessly, but email doesn't seem to be.

I built a new computer, and installed Windows live mail. I have 4 accounts from diffrent sources - none of them yahoo or gmail. I can recieve mail perfectly, but cannot send, it says the server cannot be found. I have gone so far as to reattatch the
old compter, export the settings to the new computer and - even though the old computer sends perfectly., the new one does not. My internet provider (suddenlink) tells me it is a microsoft issue. I have also looked at my router and my my virus software to
see if there is a block. Nothing! Ideas?
I had to download the new messenger the other day and ever since I have downloaded it, every time i sign in, it goes to "Not Responding" and I have uninstalled a million times, reinstalled a million times, restarted my computer, changed settings, and did
everything that Iv found on the net to do but nothing works!! Help!?

For some resaon, most of my 'sent' emails are missing from the 'sent' folder.
I cannot recover any of the missing emails anywhere, so I was wondering if Hotmail had copies on their servers???
Can anyone lead me in the right direction. I am not sure if I deleted these. I cannot see why I would they are important.
I am not very computer savy.
