I cannot use the slideshow function to view pictures in an email because I get a pop up window to install Silverlight. I go through that process and eventually a window says that a newer version of Silverlight is already installed and does not give any options other than closing the window. this is something that has just started to happen in the last couple of days.

so i uninstalled silverlight and deleted temporary flies , tried to view slideshow again, got the popup to install silverlight which i did.

restarted pc, tried to view slideshow but again got popup to install silverlight. tried to install but got message saying same version already installed.

dont know what to do to fix it know.

problem is on 2 different email accounts (including this one) on pc using windows vista home basic

tried to view slideshow on same email accounts on different pc using windows 7 home premium and slideshow worked

looks as if some changes/updates done in last couple of days that do not work in vista

I have just moved from 8.0 to 8.1. No problems with the upgrade. With 8.0 I could play all my videos within SkyDrive. With 8.1 some cannot be played. Sky Drive asks to install Silverlight. Even with Silverlight installed, they still cannot be played. All the videos have been made with Movie Maker. Any assistance?
I have updated Silverlight, cleared my cache, etc.  Just keeps taking me back to the beginning of resetting my password! Finally I created a new outlook account. Help!

  • I recently got Netflix,  cannot get it to work,  it says Silverlight ? I believe this is the correct name) any it says Silverlight is corrupt  HELP

I have upgraded recently to Internet Explorer 9 but use the 32 Bit version that work with my Norton - since then my Skydrive keeps asking me to download Silverlight which I did - now I am thinking the silverlight needs to be 32 bit instead of 64 bit which I downloaded, and perhaps that is why it keeps asking me over and over to download silverlight.

Where can I find the Silverlight 32 BIT version that works with Windows 7  and Internet Explorer 9 - 32 bit version

??

thanks for any help!!!!

I don't know how to find my version of SKYDRIVE either???  looked everywhere
