How do I transfer PC Outlook contacts to Outlook for Mac

I have Outlook 2011 in my PC and want to copy/transfer contacts to Outlook 2011 for Mac.

I've read thousands of pages about it, but none of it has worked. Exporting and then trying to import pst files didn't work, Mac doesn't recognize pst files, or cannot find an application to open them with. It got lost inside my Mac.

It shouldn't be that hard.

I have a Macbook Air that runs OS X Lion.

The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect .please see the aplication event log for more details. i get this message everytime i try to open my windows messenger , my hot mail works if i open it through a seperate window but cant get messneger to load help somebody please

Hi All,

I am facing an issue related to running WLM on my windows vista, each time I run the App it gives me an error message stating that :

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

What I did that I collected the SxSTrace and from it I observed the below error is occurring each time:

ERROR: Two assemblies have the same assembly name with different version. Assembly 1: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4148_none_5090ab56bcba71c2.manifest. Assembly 2: Ȗ.

ERROR: Activation Context generation failed.

End Activation Context Generation.

Is there any idea about this conflict and what is its solution?

Cannot load Messenger

When I attempt to load messenger I get the following message The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the event log for more detail.

How can I overcome this problem? I have recently downloaded Windows Live Essentials

i use vista and my laptop is hp windows live messenge is not working since i updated it last week

before 2 mnths i updated the messenger and it stop working it told me "the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect .please see the application event log for more details "

so i unistalled the windows live messenger2011 and i dowloded and installed the an old live messenger and it worked again.

last 2 weeks the messenger forced me to update it and no other choice,,,and after i updated it,,,,the messenger stoped working again .

could you help about how i can make windows live messenger 2011 work again ?

My company switched over to Outlook for our e-mail about 2 weeks ago. I accessed it from home and on my iPhone using the Outlook Web App. 2 days ago I downloaded Office for Mac 2011 which includes Outlook. I can't figure out how to 'add' my company Outlook account to the application I just downloaded.

problems with Microsoft Live Mail

I'm having some issues with Microsoft Live Mail. The first issue is that new mail doesn't automatically appear in my in box. I have to hit the send/receive button, go out of the application and log back in before the mail appears. The second issue is that if I delete an e-mail in my inbox, it doesn't disappear until I go out of the application and then log back in.
