A lagre file is blocking my outboks - not beeing able to send it and the other files is also blocked.
who can I locate this lagre file in Outlook to remove it+
When Outlook is opened, all previously received messages in the inbox must be reloaded -- and they reload in unopened status, as if they have not previously been read. That is, they are reloaded as if they have never been opened. If loaded in the order
received, about 5,000 must be reloaded before the most recently received e-mails are seen. How do I restore the sanity of having only the previously unseen messages in my inbox reload when Outlook is opened?
Spontaneously Outlook 2011 does some sort of updating of the local database.
This time my computer re-booted when it was about 80-90% done. This sub sequentially led to all emails received after June was removed locally, on 2 different exchange accounts and my gmail account (The e-mails ended up in the archive in gmail.).
So not only did it remove them locally it wiped them from the servers as well somehow!
Has anyone experienced this? Any solution as to recover?
As for my school exchange account i could see the emails in the recover folder, but when i chose all and recover selected they disappeared.....

I am the exchange administrator, and my COO just received a new MacBook Air - we have Outlook 2011 set up, but he is receiving a sync error on about 15 calendar entries. I've tried deleting entries that are old and no longer apply, completely from his
calendar but the errors still appear. Need help troubleshooting and narrowing down where these things are coming from so I can get rid of that exclamation point in the bottom right corner of the window.

I would be happy to delete the event to get rid of the sync error, but theres no way to tell which calendar event it is. There are 6 calendar events called "Birthday" I don't know who's birthday it is or what birthday to delete! How can I track this problem

When I attempt to archive my email and contacts, the program consistently crashes and I have to restart it. The backup archive file is not completed and not usable./ This has happened multiple times. I did rebuild my database but this did not help. Any
suggestions on how to fix this?
Yes, that's right, I want to turn this OFF or edit it so that read receipts go to the correct email address. I know what you're thinking, that you can't even use read receipts in MS Outlook for Mac. But I have been, although by accident. This is what happened in my case:
Years ago when I had MS Entourage I set it up to ask for a read receipt when I sent emails. I did this by doing the following steps:
1. In Entourage I selected "Tools." and then "Accounts."
2. I selected the "Mail" tab and selected the account I wanted to use read receipts with by double-clicking on the account name.
3. I then selected the "Options" tab.
4. And, in the box labeled "Header," I entered "Disposition-Notification-To" and typed my email address into the "Value" box.
5. After clicking "OK", Entourage was set up to request read receipts.
When I purchased Office 2011 for Mac, and imported my Entourage accounts etc into Outlook, it also copied this setting for me. This was fine - it just kept requesting read-receipts and that was good.
HOWEVER, the email account I was using is now no longer active and what I'm finding is that whenever I send an email, that the recipients whose computers are actually trying to send a read receipt, are returning them an error message because the email it's trying to send the read receipt to an email address that can't be resolved.
So, how do I now change this in MS Outlook? I need to either remove the "Disposition-Notification-To" setting, or change it so that it goes to my current email address.

Does anyone know a convenient way to deactivate notifications/reminders for entries within shared calendars (only)?
I only found the option for default reminders which is inconvenient since people would have to manually set it for their own calendar events all the time.
Any advice appreciated.

Am using Outlook for Mac. Besides my standard mailboxes i use many sub-folders in my Inbox.
How do I configure these sub-folders with columns for "from"; "to"; "subject"; 'size" ; "date received" etc etc
I managed to do it for the "delete" mailbox.
