Email account settings deleted when Outlook is Eacclosed

I have to re-enter my account settings every time I open Outlook in order to receive emails but when I close it, the account is deleted again. Please help!

Thank you for the advice. My MacBook wouldn't allow me to follow all the steps you recommended but I eventually found the Microsoft Database Utility, highlighted the only identity listed as "main identity"and clicked on "rebuild". This seems to have worked and my email account no longer disappears when I close Outlook. Thank you again.

Font compatibility in Office for Mac and Windows

I am using Office for Mac, and my problem/question is - when I set the font at size 10 or 12 for (say) Ariel or Verdana as my default font in Outlook, the characters look very small. To make the characters appear a reasonable size, I need to set the font size to 18. Now if I send a mail with this font size, the recipient will see unusually large characters.

On the other hand, when I use Outlook with my Windows laptop, the font size of 12 is much larger (as compared to size 12 in Mac), and easy to read as I type my mails.

One solution is that i write my mails in font 18 and then reduce them to 12 before sending them. But that is cumbersome at times, I tried changing the screen resolution, but then the fonts appeared blurred.

I recently downloaded Microsoft:Mac 2011. I've added my Outlook and Yahoo email accounts. However, when trying to access my inboxes via the "O" icon, I am not able to see the accounts, send or receive messages. Is it necessary for me to have a previous version of Microsoft in order to utilize Outlook? I can log into my Outlook account by going to Outlook.com.

Migrated form Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard to new Macbook Retina with Mountain Lion.

Used Time Machine backup to transfer all App's (Office for Mac 2011) and Data to new Macbook Retina. Success.

Auto-fill of email addresses used previously on Snow Leopard is no longer working on Mountain Lion.

Outlook email will not recall previous email addresses just sent to, nor will it auto-fill from existing contacts which I have confirmed are present Outlook Contacts list.

No Import Option for Mac Mail In Outlook 2011

There is no import option for apple mail in outlook 2011, as i click the import option in outlook the apple mail does not show up.

I am looking for a solution to transfer mails from Apple mail to Outlook 2011. I have tons of mails to be transferred that i need to transfer. i have not found any answers that can solve my problem effectively.

Receiving winmail.dat attachments

When I send myself attachments from work (off of a PC running Windows 7, MS Outlook), whether I send one attachment or multiple attachments, I receive one 'winmail.dat' file as the attachment.

I'm using Office for Mac 2011 on the latest iMac. My wife uses the same iMac set up and Office for Mac 2011. I will send to both of us; I receive the winmail.dat file, she will get them correctly, and I have to have her send them to me from her computer so I can use them.

How can I fix this?
