With Windows 7, on start up sometimes I get a box saying, "This action cannot be completed at this time". There are 2 choices "Switch to" or "Retry". Clicking Switch To makes it go away. Why do I get this ?

i receive sms in numbering mode instead of alphabatic mode.
We recently downloaded a new version of Windows messenger as we have a new computer. When I sign in, the window comes up with my contacts on but when I click on my contacts' name to chat with them the next window that comes up is a texting window and
not an sms window. The sms window only comes up if I get an message from one of my contacts first. How do I get the sms window?

i have windows live id and my hotmail works good, but messenger service doesnt work.

I like having access to Windows Live,but on this particular computer I do NOT want my password to be automatically saved in case someone else uses it. But it keeps coming up as already signed in and won't let me change it. Thanks.
All my contacts can't receive my IMs on msn. But I can receive theirs.
Why is this update mandatory?
