I regulary get the following error box appearing on my screen: -

"WINDOWS LIVE COMMUNICATION PLATFORM HAS STOPPED WORKING - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

Many weeks have gone by but no solution has been offered by windows. Yjos causes problems that I jabe to use IE to log into my hotmail account. I am using Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

I have already updated the program and I am using the latest version of Messenger. I have run virus check not only Norton but Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Can any member of the forum please help?

how do you fix "wubdiws live communications platform has stopped working". It started the day I installed the new messanger, I’d love to go back to the old messanger but it’s not available

Is there a way of making my online status appear differently, to different users, on Skype?

I love my Dad dearly, but he has a bad habit of frequently trying to start a chat with me. Today I just migrated my Live Messenger to Skype. I'd like to add my Dad to my Skype account, because it would be nice to have a vide chat with him, but is it possible to appear off line to some Skype contacts, but appear online to others?

i downloaded a merge of messenger and skype, now i cant access messenger,have lost mail notification ,instant messaging notification,i an access mail through the hotmail site but will not know when i receive a mail as there is no notification any more, messenger shortcut on desktop no longer works

 

cannot find Voice call or video call button for one of my contacts in Win Messanger

Hi I have Windows 8, My contact in Messanger has Win XP, when he is trying to establish Video call all Voice call, he gets a message that I my PC doesn't set up for Video calls or voice call.  On my side I don't have an option to establish video or voice call with this specific contact. Although I can do with the rest. Could you please advice what is it?

i have alot of stuff connected to my hotmail account.  will i still be able to use my hotmail? or do i have to start changing everything if i dont decide to go to skype?  after march 13th.

messenger issue

I seem to be having an issue where whenever i try signing in, the program lags heavily and when i do finally fully get the details in it won't connect up (keeps saying service unavailable). I already reinstalled the program and it still happens. I can still access messanger through hotmail but its a neuscence. please help.
