Hi,

I'm trying to create "Local Folders" in Live Mail 2012 as I had in the previous version(s) -  How do I do this ?

What I would really like to achieve is something similar to the following hierarchy:

PENDING

PERSONAL

  -  Ebay

  -  Purchases

  -  Software Keys

  -  Insurance

     -  Car

     -  House

Please help,

Peter

I am using Windows Live Mail.  When I copy text from a site on the Internet, the line spacing is retained from the original text, even though I have subsequently standardized and enlarged the font size.

The end result is that when the email is sent, the copied lines of text frequently overlap, especially if the original font size is smaller.  In other words, the line spacing does not adjust when I specify a different font size.

In the edit mode, everything looks OK!  The sent email is where the problem is noted.

I can not find anywhere in WLM where I can adjust or fix the line/paragraph spacing.

Thank you,

Bob Hagemann

Hello, this morning the Windows Live Mail program was running perfectly and working as usual. Suddenly around 2-4 pm I could not send any emails to my other accounts or receive. Only my main account was the only one working. The rest were getting Error 10053  ( 0x800ccc0f )  If anyone is able to help us please do. I tried calling technical support and talked with them on the phone for over an hour with no luck of help. Thank you.

PST: We also tried the repair and that was unsuccessful. If anyone has any solution to this problem, I hope we do receive the help. Once again Thank You.

PS: The message below is the problem and it's information.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Laccboard (laccboard) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

I saved off my contact list from an outlook express mail system under XP to be restored under win 8.1 after installation.  Initially had a problem with a particular entry because the import process would stop because it didn't recognize the format of a record.  I edited the file using notepad and removed all entries which were not formatted correctly (Name, email address) and did another import.  The process stopped again and I looked at the record where stop occurred. athe full name is NAECED members and the Personal email is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  I delete all contacts including the NAECED one and try to import all contacts again.  Get the same problem.  It appears that the member entry isn't deleted but it isn't in the CSV file.

I am using windows live mail, version 9 on my desktop computer.  I'm using an operating system windows 7.

While I am getting all kinds of error messages when opening and sending messages and most importantly, I can not send messages and they get locked in my outbox.

Thanks for any help you can offer.  my local internest server, Comcast was unable to help and directed me to Microsoft Windows.

I am using Live Mail 2011 and Windows 7 and am unable to send emails.  I have been using this for a couple of years with no problem and the problem began yesterday.

When I hit the send button on a message this is the error message that I receive :

Server Response: 451 Outbound mail refused - 65.189.53.248 - See http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/topics/internet/email-setup.html [R0209002]

I called Time Warner level 3 support and described my problem to them.  They said that all of my Live Mail and Time Warner configurations a set correctly and the problem is not a Time Warner issue, that I need to contact Mirosoft to see what is wrong with my Live Mail.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

We use Windows Live Mail on our computers.  When we go on vacation, Windows Live Mail seems to take a great deal of time to load.  We were in Australia at a wi-fi spot and it took over 10 minutes to download our email....

We'll be on a cruise ship with limited (and slow) connections anyway, is there another smaller email program I should consider for emails while on the go where we pay for Internet by the minute?  I want to be able to get off-line to answer emails at leisure, and use the connection times prudently.  Or, is there some way to reduce the complexity of the program so all it needs to do is connect to my server to download email?

I have a Windows 7 computer.  I installed WLM on it recently.  I have 3 email accounts on the WLM.  One is a POP3 and the other 2 are IMAPs.  The POP3 and one IMAP is working as it should.  However, my other IMAP does not save the sent messages.  This particular account is a squirrelmail account.  I am receiving all mail and my emails are being sent, but they are not showing up in sent mail.  All options are checked to save sent mail.  The option to store special folders on the server is also checked for this account.  Also, if I log into the actual squirrelmail website, messages that I have sent through WLM are not showing up in the sent folder on the squirrelmail site either.  This is a huge inconvenience and problem.  I have uninstalled and installed WLM several times with no luck in solving this problem.  Any help in this matter would be much appreciated!!!!
When starting up Windows Live Mail it keeps hanging and saying "not responding"  It is showing over 14,000 emails in my inbox - I cannot delete anything or move items as keeps hanging.  My computer was recently repaired as there was a problem with one of the drivers.  Since my computer has been returned I cannot use WLM.  Any advice how I can get this working again.  Currently accessing my emails via BT Yahoo mail.

It has been doing this for awhile. I have uninstalled and reinstalled windows live mail. I am using windows 8.

Can anyone help with this problem.
