I'm trying to edit a video and I would like to reverse a video clip within the video, is this possible? I've seen some say yes, and even say how, but it was referring to the earlier version. Is it available on the newest version as well? If so, how?

Or does anyone know of another free, non-virus ridden program I could use to  reverse a portion of the video so that I could place into this one?

I am making a video using some 100 slides all shot in high definition on a new Nikon D5100 at highest quality setting.

Initially tried to preview project on my computer, and wide screen setting played all right. Tried again after adding music and each shot flickered/blurred. Regular screen plays fine. I have never had such a problem with using wide screen HD video slideshows of my photos in some 25 YouTube posts (using the OneTrueMedia program) so I know it is not the definition of the photos or my desk top or my monitor.

To top everything off, when I hit save for the video, it dumped all my transitions panning and zoom settings carefully set photo by photo. I am not very impressed!

Okay so I make youtube videos which require pictures to go a certain speed for the music for an example the words to a song must match up with the music playing so i need to make my video clip shorter to match the audio but when i am editing to make the video shorter i have to check to see if the time is set up correctly so the phrases meet up with what is on screen but when ever i have a short clip that's lets just say 1 second long when I click on it and watch that one clip it plays the lasts clip audio so i have to watch through the whole video to make sure that the time is set up correctly it is very time consuming and annoying that i have to do that and I have made other videos around a year ago with short clips and they were fine so im not sure what the issue is can anyone help me?

In going from one video to another I want to have an animation to indicate a change in scene.  However, when I add the animation to the second video, I hear the prior video's audio.  Any idea what is causing this?

Hello Windows Users! I have been making a memorial video for a deceased family member, and movie maker is not working well for me. When I watch the video in the small preview screen that is embedded into the storyline, it shows one timing, and then when I expand the video into the full-screen preview, it shows a completely different timing. Then, when I publish the video, it shows a THIRD different timing. By timing, I mean the time the clips change over. I'm trying to match them up to a song so that they change based on the words being sung. Obviously, this issue is making my life difficult, since I can't properly time the clips to the music if I can't have an accurate representation of what the video will be. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this so I can properly time my clips for the finished copy?

Hi,

All I want to do is shorten a video and keep the format exactly the same as the source video. I want the same resolution, bit rate, audio, etc. etc. There is no obvious way to do this as Movie maker clearly keeps changing my video resolution.

Any ideas?

I have Windows 7 with Windows Live V 2011 (Build 15.4.3502.0922)

I pieced together a video a few days ago, saved it to my computer, then published on youtube with no problems at all.  I started a new project last night, finished it, and saved it.  When I played the saved wmv file, the screen went black in some portions of the 4.11 minute video.  I went back to Windows Live and re-saved it.  The wmv went black in different portions of the video.  I have tried re-saving several times, and every time, it is black in some spots, but it is never the same!

I have checked that my driver is updated (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250) twice.  I have done an error check on my drives.  I don't know what else to do.  I have read some of the threads and I can't follow some of the advice with more technical things.  Help?

I could drop the video into the audio line of the storyboard on the 2.6 version, but I don't see that option in this version.

I just downloaded Movie Maker for Windows 7, and created a 5 1/2minute video with clips of videos as well as added overlapping music. I have published, saved, etc etc endless amounts of times, only to find every result ending with audio only (voice from video and music), and no picture. I NEED HELP! I want to create a file I can save to a flash drive for a presentation.

Does anyone know? I have yet to come across this issue in my online search.... It only took me about 3 hours to make the video, but about 8 in researching this problem!

Please help if you can! I greatly appreciate it :)
