I've been a long time SkyDrive user, since 2007 or so. As a result, I have 25GB free storage on SkyDrive. A few months ago, I subscribed to a trial version of Office 365 Home Premium. It added an extra 20GB space to my SkyDrive, as advertised, and for a while, I was happy with the 45GB total storage space.

Last month, my trial expired, and I activated a new paid 1 year subscription to Office 365 Home Premium. I expected my storage space to remain the same - 25GB free plus 20GB from the Office 365 subscription, for a total of 45GB. However, my SkyDrive now only shows the 25GB free storage space. It's been 15 days since I activated Office 365, and I am yet to see the additional 20GB storage space.

I've already checked the basic stuff - I am using the same Live account for the Office subscription and SkyDrive. Just to be sure, I also checked all my other Live accounts and didn't find the extra storage hiding in any other account either. I contacted SkyDrive customer support, who failed to resolve the issue and transferred me to the technical support team, who also failed to resolve the issue and transferred me over to billing support, who failed to resolve the issue as well, and told me quite plainly that there was nothing more to be done.

None of the support folks seem to know about the time Microsoft offered SkyDrive customers 25GB free storage, and so all of them claim that 25GB is all I am entitled to even with the Office subscription. I have confirmed that this is not true with some other folks who also have 25GB free storage and are running Office 365 subscriptions. All of them have 45GB storage space in SkyDrive. Plus I myself had 45GB storage while running the Office 365 trial.

I even tried reaching out to the SkyDrive Twitter account, but haven't heard back from them. I have now reached a dead end, and know for a fact that I am getting stiffed out of the services that I have paid for. The customer support doesn't have any idea what to do, and I have no clue whom to escalate to. I will appreciate any advise on how to resolve this matter.

Thank you very much.
An automatic update that could not be avoided at restart has created the single worst computer data disaster I have ever experienced. D storage space vanishes after today win 8.1 update along with desktop files and all synced sky-drive files are corrupted. These files represent multiple constitutional lawsuits HELP!!

How do I use SkyDrive to free up some space on my P.C.?  I now have twice the storage space used on my computer  ie: Documents Folder is now also using same space in SkyDrive/Documents Folder. I don't share everything with Sky Drive so I'm very confused...why do I need two of the same folders in my computer? Should I work from the SkyDrive documents folder or my original documents folder?  Can I delete files from computer and leave in SkyDrive somehow without them being anywhere on my computer?

AND....can a hacker access my sky drive?  I have been embarrassed enough already when a hacker got ahold of all of my contacts and sent Viagra ads to them all FROM ME.  Boy did I have some explaining to do. Most of my elderly contacts (like my mother) couldn't grasp the concept  of my being hacked...I think they still believe I sent them...   :-l

Hello, I'm trying to upgrade my SkyDrive space. I've been in contact with your techs via chats multiple times and I can't get it fixed. This seems to be my last try before I call it quits and move to another service.

I want to add another 50GB to my account for storage.

I originally started my account in the USA. Since then I have moved to Europe and now I'm living in Spain. I have updated my account information on this page: https://account.live.com/

From there everything is correct, reflecting my correct address in Spain.

I then go to https://skydrive.live.com/options/Upgrade#sc=picol to upgrade my account and it shows that I am in the USA and doesn't allow me to change the address or information. I can't select another country. Normally I would say Oh well and just sign up, but it also asks for my cell phone number from the US but that number is also disconnected.

I'd like to sign up for the extra storage space. I've been in contact with your tech support multiple times and they said this is the place I need to fill out a question here.

To summarize:
I have a US account, since then I moved to Europe. I changed my account and it still shows I'm in the US when I try to pay for extra storage space. How can we fix this?

Thanks in advance :) I look forward to working with you to fix this issue.

How do I see how much storage space my emails are using?  (and how much is allowed for free web based accts?) Before the change to Outlook, you could be in hotmail, then go to Manage folders to see how much space was used by each folder as well as overall...but that option no longer exists.

I'm using Microsoft Office Outlook for Mac, and the large files I'm receiving via Outlook emails are taking up too much storage space on my computer. How do I change the settings to tell Outlook to delete all files that are stored on my computer either (a) over a certain size or (b) over a certain number of days old?
