Very frustrating that Office 2011 Outlook will not sync correctly with iCloud.  All sorts of work arounds seem to be available, none of them seem to just work!

When is it likely that Outlook (Contacts and Calendar) will sync correctly with iCloud?

It seems the best result is to use the Mac Calendar and Contacts apps which just work and not sync back to Outlook.  Still causes problems though with emailed invites etc.
When I signed up for Hotmail, there was a Sent folder along the left of the screen and all the emails I sent produced a copy in the Sent folder. Today, I don't see a Sent folder. I use dial-up and the top lines of each section of folders have blue writing over them which appear to be links that result in options to their right when I click on them. But there's no Sent folder along that left side of the screen anymore. It's taking about 45 seconds for anything I click on to respond. Is there a quick fix so I don't have to spend a half hour following a path that may not help? If not, how can I get the Sent folder back?

I created a hotmail account before MS aquiring the company and had a password that worked.  Recently with Live login, I had to change password.  The phone number has changed and as a result I created a 2nd acct for hotmail to send me reset password instructions.  In the long questionnaire, I responded to as much as I could remember.  I even entered old password that worked fine and secret question and I still get denied.

Is it because hotmail has deleted the account and this is thier way of saying you are denied?

I need someone to email me and explain.  I have too much information stored on my email folders and need to recover it. Obviously my second account has my name and info, so I can't be fake.  At some point you have to belive the person is genuine if security question and old password is answered.

my 2nd account is <removed by the moderator> or you can also reply to <removed by the moderator> which I believe was my alternate email.

Thanks you

Farid

I can't search in hotmail on this computer. i get the following result:  "We didn't find any results for "subject:      "

I have tried the Explorer browser and Google Chrome browser.

I am able to search in hotmail on my other computer.

What should i do to get the hotmail search function to work again on this computer??  Thanks.

I have a contact with the contact name the same as the email address.  I assume this is the result of reading a message from an unknown author, and taking the option to add to contacts.  How do I delete this entry?

Is there a feature to share the calendar for two different users (privat, hence no exchange server running)? if yes, can the common shared /overlayed calendar being synchronized with Iphone etc?

If no, would there be another option to achieve such a result?

Many thanks, Marc

When responding to a email, when I go to send, I get a message that Hotmail may be experiencing a problem, and to hit refresh, when I do this , my reply is delted and I have had to retype my reply 3 times, always with the same result, my reply is not saved in drafts nor does it show as sent. What can I do?

I installed MSN and everything is working

Only when I want to make a video call I have no sound

I checked the microfone and it is working, I tested in MSN and there is movement in the soundbar

I tested with another micem, same result

I tryed with Skype, no problem

All other programs working with mice are working fine

I repaired windows essentials, no solucion

Hi all,

Something very strange just happened in my Outlook for Mac : filtering is not working! I mean, when I'm for example in the email list and I go to the Filter button in the ribbon and apply a filter, then it's : "No result".

Of course I'm trying to filter based on criteria that just show some stuff : emails, tasks, etc.

What might have happened to my Outlook?

Any idea?

Thanks everyone.

MC.
