I thought I would like to use Outlook 2011 for the mac. It is great software, but I would prefer to move back to the native apple mail. It just makes syncing so much easier with my devices.

However Outlook only produces OLM files... How do I get messages back over to Mail. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a solution.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
I use a MAC and have Outlook and Verizon e-mail accounts.  When I tried to change the Verizon
server information I accidentally changed my Outlook/Hotmail incoming and outgoing server
information.  How/where do I find out what that information is to re-set it on the MAC?

Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

In Outlook for Windows, if I have a message open in a window, then move it into a folder other than Inbox, the message window automatically closes.  It's kind of like "putting the message away" after reading it and deciding to file it.

I don't see an option to setup this behavior in Outlook Mac 2011.  You move the message, but the window remains open and you have to take the extra step to manually close the window.

Any ideas how to set this up or enable this behavior if it's an option?

On my windows version of outlook, i could export to a pst.  I would export my entire email (inbox, sent, deleted...) by doing this and i would not create duplicates by selecting this choice.  Therefore, my back up file would increase in size the more i added to it but it would maintain the one file.  How can i accomplish this on the mac version of outlook.  It seems i would i have to drag each email off the server now to the corresponding folder  on "on my computer".  Before, with a few key strokes, i added the most current emails i wanted off the server to the pst file that already contained my previous export(s).  Sorry if confusing.  Please help.

Outlook 14.3.2 Update sent emails moving to junk

Morning, Having issues with Hosted Exchange since an Outlook 14.3.2 (130206) update. Emails sents from a hosted exchange (via Outlook desktop) are being moved into the junk folder.

When sending via Apple Mail or OWA all fine, but fall back into junk when syncing with Outlook desktop.

Are there any known issues?

Spec: Mac
Outlook: 14.3.2 (130206)

Thanks,
Andy

Hi, I was using Outlook 2011 on my Macbook Pro Retina.  Now, for work, I need to use a Windows 8 touchscreen desktop.  I have a desktop, and I have just purchased Windows 365 for it.  Several months ago, I seamlessly transferred all my old email and calendar files from a Windows computer to the Mac.  Now, however, I can find no way to get the Mac Outlook files onto my new Windows 8 desktop.  I tried downloading one of those converters, but it doesn't list Windows 8 as being compatible, and the free trial didn't seem to work, as no emails were imported...Please help.  I'm getting way behind in work and I need to get this taken care of ASAP.  Thanks.

I have a desktop mac with OS X 10.8.3 operating system. I recently upgrade to Mountain Lion.

I use Outlook Office for mac 2011 to receive/send emails. For the last four days I haven't been able to send mail, only receive. Whenever I try to send an email I get the following error message.

"Cannot send mail. The SMTP server does not recognise any of the authentication methods supported by Outlook. Try changing the SMTP authentication options in Account settings or contact your network administrator"

Why is this happening and what do I do to change the settings?

I use Outlook for Mac on a laptop running Parallels, and Windows 7 on the other side. I am not happy with the email storage with Outlook for Mac, and am considering trying to export olm files and convert to pst to archive and search using Office 2003 on the Windows side. Can I run both Office for Mac and Office for Windows this way without corrupting licenses on the same laptop?
