Windows live mail will not launch. I get a pop up that says
"An update is required
Click to install the latest update for Windows Live Essentials."
Is this a virus?
I do not install the update and press cancel.

Windows live mail not working right
I am using winows XP and have POP3 also for MS Outlook 2002 and Ourlook Express. New email appears in Yahoo Mail and is immediarely available in both these programmes but I usually have to wait 10 -15 minutes and sometimes longer ,for the same emails
to be available in my Hotmail inbox.
I recently got infected with search.babylon.com in google, so I deleted google, then restored to a previous point a few days before the infection. Now the hyperlinks in my Windows Live Mail give a popup box with a big red X and an error message "......
is not a valid Win32 app". Is this yet another virus that Norton can't handle, or is Windows Live Mail corrputed and needs to be reinstalled? If so, how do I do that?
I have a domain that hotmail is rejecting sending mail to with 5.5.0 "no such user" except the Returning-MTA is Hotmail, not the MX record for the domain (which I have access to and see no connections from hotmail)
How do I determine why Hotmail is rejecting sending to this domain or the MX record it is using?
I just got a message with the above subject line. It looks like a phishing attack to me. Can someone confirm this? Below is the body of the message.
