hotmail switched to outlook and now inbox has Mobile interface on my MACBOOK. i have safari browser Version 4.1.3 (4533.19.4). Help.
My iPad and iPhone synch my "live.com" email account. My recently purchased MacBook receives and sends emails but is not synching.

Apple support communities suggest I need to change from Pop to Imap. Is this correct? How I do I achieve this?

Any suggestions?
I purchased Office for my new MacBook. The Excel, Powerpoint, and Word applications were installed without a problem, but when I try log in to Outlook it won't let me. It requires me to sign in with an existing account (my email doesn't work for some reason, though I have Microsoft for my email too and the username/passwords are correct) or enter my product key (which doesn't work either, though I entered it correctly). Any suggestions?
When trying to print a Hotmail message via a MacBook, I find that only the first page of the message gets sent over to the printer. This did not happen previously with this printer when using a pc laptop.
I am updating from Macbook pro to new Macbook pro and want to export all MSOutlook for Mac 2011 emails to the new computer running same MS Outlook for MAC.  When I use export function it takes an age to complete and when I import to new machine I don't get any emails.
The Log gives the following "Error writing attachment to archive "/Users/XYZABC/Desktop/Outlook for Mac Archive.olm".."
Is there any fix for this or any other way I can  back up the emails and transfer them across?
Many thanks
The server is working fine with all my other devices. When I delete emails, they delete from the server and from all my devices, including my Macbook, so it's not the server. It's also just email as tasks and calendar items can be deleted from my Macbook and they get deleted from the server. Is there a setting that needs changing on my Macbook or in Outlook for Mac?
A few days ago I wanted to copy a Word document with pictures from my PC to my MacBook.  So I sent an email with a large attachment from my PC Outlook 2010/Hotmail email, which I then later on opened in Outlook/Hotmail on my Mac.  My MacBook Pro Retina running OS X 10.7.5  with Outlook 2011 for Mac. Since then this 28MB mail has been sending itself every 20 minutes or so on the Mac only.  The repeated mail doesn't show up on my PC and it doesn't show in the Mac Sent box.  I.e. the only place I can see that mail again and again is in my Mac inbox.  This is obviously driving me crazy so any ideas would be most welcome
I have a Macbook (new in 2012).  My Outlook continues to freeze for long periods of time, making it unusable.  I use it for a Microsoft Exchange account for work.  I have co-workers with the same computer, that do not have the same issue.  Also, there is a syncing issue, if an email is deleted from my Mac, it does not delete on the Exchange/PC/Phone.

Thanks!

Hello,

I use an older MacBook, and yesterday unwittingly started with outlook.com and automatically now use HTTPS. I managed to change back to Hotmail on a Windows computer. I now want to change back to not automatically using HTTPS, but can't find a way. Doing the action below doesn't seem work on my computer.

Hope somebody can help.

Regards,

John.

If your computer is automatically using HTTPS, I suggest that you connect using HTTP. Please refer on the steps provide above by one of our community member.

To manually do this process, please follow the steps below.

1. After logging into Hotmail and navigating to your Inbox

2. Change the URL in the address bar of your browser to https://. You should only need to delete the ‘s’ onto the https and leave the rest of the URL as is. Press Enter to follow the updated URL.
