I am with all the others above.   I HATE the new PEOPLE...contacts.   It is ridiculous.   you have to go out of windows live and then got back into it when done.  before you hit the arrow back and went right to email.  now you have to into MSN and Into inbox to get there.

I would like to delete two names off a distribution list for now.  I can't even bring up and listing of who is on there.

This is not reasonable.   This has to be changed immediately.     People take vacations etc.   you have to be able to delete , read, add to the distribution list you set up   LIKE BEFORE FOR OVER 10 YEARS WE COULD DO THIS.    now  in 2012;  we ARE LOCKED IN.

We are in a free world in the best country of the world and we cannot do a thing with the lists??????/forever???????

come on.     And I pay extra for this???????    I do.    I'm getting LESS SERVICE and WORST service than before.

When I access my inbox on windows live it no longer opens in hotmail, any suggestions on how to get it back?
Hey all -

I am trying to figure out how to take advantage of the GMail "Important" email filtering, and retain it through to Outlook.

My end goal is to be able to move the "unimportant" emails to a subfolder, so my dock icon ultimately just shows the unread count of the "important" emails.

I tried creating a rule like: "If folder is not "important" then move email to "unimportant" and skip notification. But that ended up moving ALL emails to "unimportant".

Is there a way to do what I need?

Using Mac with Outlook 2011 14.2.4 with Gmail setup as an IMAP account.

Thanks in advance.

I have been reading my emails on my portable devices.  So I had not actually logged into hotmail in awhile.  Today when I logged in my inbox only had 9 emails.  It used to have 300.  Where did they go and why?
The top message in the inbox is automatically marked as read when Hotmail is opened. I would prefer all messages that I haven't clicked on to stay "unread", until I have actively selected them. Is there a setting to achieve this?
my inbox says (1) but nothing in there...then it flickers to 2 or 3 but only 1 message gets through....always (1) message in inbox...but there is none!!!
Is anyone having an issue with opening emails from your inbox link in windows live messenger?  If I sign in to hotmail on the sign in page from Google, I do not have an issue, its only when I click on inbox on my windows live messenger window that I can not access or open my emails. I'm wondering if I have a bug?
