Windows Live Mail FAQ

I received an email saying my account will be permanently suspended if I do not click on the link. I think this is bogus, is it?

Suspicous email can anyone tell me if this is lagit or not, all my account info is correct. is it a scam of some sort?

I have not done what it asks because I want to know if its true and really from who it says it is or is this some sort of scam? please let me know.

I just got a message with the above subject line.  It looks like a phishing attack to me. Can someone confirm this?  Below is the body of the message.

    I RECEIVED E-MAIL FROM WINDOWS LIVE TEAM THAT A DGTFX VIRUS HAD BEEN DETECTED IN MY HOTMAIL/MSN ACCOUNT. AND I MUST UPGRADE TO NEW SECURED DGTFX ANTI VIRUS 2012. IF I DID NOT THE VIRUS WOULD SPREAD AND MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT WOULD BE TERMINATED. IS THIS LEGIT? PLEASE ADVISE.
