I just today signed up for outlook.com to host 3 accounts with my domain name. I was having testing the email accounts using a desktop computer and two mobile devices. At some point I got emails from outlook indicating suspicious activity in a couple of the accounts, requesting that I verify the accounts. When I tried to verify the accounts, I got messages saying that outlook could not send an SMS message.

Is there a way to pay for these accounts so that the sending limits are relaxed? I was going to pay for hotmail plus but there's really no indication anywhere that this would solve my problem. It's not that I send a lot of messages, but for now I can't unblock one of the accounts. how can I reliably verify the accounts also be able to test our various devices without running into this issue?

Is there any specific information posted anywhere so that I can follow the "rules" without getting surprised by getting the accounts blocked?

Thanks in advance for your info.
Hello, I have Windows 8 on my desktop computer and I was trying to follow the MS online instructions with regard to Uploading photos and files to SkyDrive.  The steps outlined on the online 'help' are:  Go to SkyDrive.com, Open the Folder to which I want to add files, Drop files here (herein lies the problem).  I cannot find the words, an ICON, a command button; nothing that shows "Drop files here".  I would really appreciate it if someone will assist me.  Thanking you in advance, Dru
My boyfriend is having issues accessing his hotmail account.

He can access it through the email app on his phone, but he is unsuccessful when he tries to log in on a desktop computer. When he tries to get in via desktop he's told his password is wrong and then asked to answer a security question. The problem here is that he never set up a secret question and answer. The weird part is that he can still get into his email on his phone and ipad but nowhere else. This started a month or two ago.

He just spend a half an hour on the phone with Microsoft only to be told that they didn't provide support for Hotmail and then left on hold until he was disconnected. So, we're looking here for help. Why is it that the app works but the desktop version doesn't?

Any help would be much appreciated.
On my desktop computer (Windows 8) I get a message saying  "Your IMAP has not responded in 60 seconds.  Would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond?"  Error OX800CCC0F

It doesn't happen with our laptops, just the desktop.  Is it a Windows Live mail problem or a Charter question?

Thanks
Just today, Outlook Connector (on Outlook 2007, Windows 8) is not synchronizing with my mailbox (msn.com).  Perhaps when the computer is actually awake (active) it can receive mail, but when it has been asleep (in standby) and wakes up, it does not get the mail that arrived in my mailbox while the computer was asleep.

I am frustrated.  Last week, my mobile devices weren't getting email.  Today, my desktop computer is not getting email.  What next?
I'm working on my desktop computer and i'm getting error messages about mobile device, when i don't have one.
I cannot access my Hotmail/Outlook email account through any of the browsers I have on my desktop computer, nor my wife's laptop.  I just get the message "This webpage is not available".
I have tried going through the NineMSN site for access but that doesn't work either.
I can still access my email through my phone.
On a related note I get the same result when I try to access paypal.
Those are the only 2 sites I am getting this problem, access to all other sites is fine.

The problem began that I couldn't resize attached photos.  Now, I can't seem to attach photos at all.  Message says "file exceeds limit".  I tried using IE instead of Google as the browser, and now I can't even get my email account to come up.  What is happening???
NOT accessible through hard wired desktop computer. Outlook.com doesn't work either! This is NOT a mobile device.
