After the 10.8.2 update, whenever my Mac sleeps, the audio cues (bing!) when new messages are received will not play. Restarting Outook - no joy. Only after restarting computer will the sounds return. Have also upgraded to 14.2.4.
Anyone having the same problem? Any solution?

I would like to know where emails go after you delete them from the trash bin. Are they still in the computer? And if so, where are they stored?
My computer seller set up my Windows Live so I could send emails with cut and paste photo option. This works fine, but now all my mail goes out
with someone elses name on the message. It shows the sender as as a person from my contact list.....not me! How do I change the sender name?
When someone receives an email from me.....it displays this other person....not me. Therefore, they are deleting messages. If I send emails through
Internet Explorer, all is okay. It only happens when I send or forward through Windows Live.

On my new computer, I'm trying to import dbx files from my old computer's Outlook Express. I am trying to do this one folder at a time in order to keep things in some sort of order. In its Storage folder, WLM sets up an "imported folder" each time I do
an import, but it's empty and the imported emails are nowhere to be found. I can search "all mail" and find a huge unsorted mass of everything I've imported, but none of it appears in a folder anywhere in the navigation bar on the left side. Any insights?
A few weeks ago we had a problem with Hotmail. It's been fine since. We are getting calls from someone who says he works for Microsoft. He wants to "take over" our computer and fix problems. He says he knows of problems we don't see yet and it will crash.
Is this legitimate?

When using Outlook 2011 for Mac, the computer slows down randomly. We can start typing and for no reason the beachball will appear for an extended period of time.
We've archived all email older than 3 weeks, cleaned up caches, ran updates and rebuilt the mailbox but the issue persists.
It appears that the Microsoft AU Daemon is the culprit, but I have no idea how to fix it.
Any ideas?
I installed mountain lion and i am now unable to do a search in emails in outlook 2011. It gives no results. I read other threads which called for re-indexing outlook. i have re-indexed my computer twice to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
