Hi

Needed to rotate part of a video taken with a phone in vertical and then the owner twisted/rotated to landscape. I went to use the 'pre-installed' Live Movie Maker on my computer and opened the program but it kept crashing and had to be closed. Usual Windows message; windows is searching for a solution etc., etc., and then the error reports sent to report the problem.

Tried to do a repair in Control Panel to Windows Essentials but had to uninstall and then reinstall as the 'repair' failed.

Downloaded Windows Essentials 2012 and installed but the Windows Live gallery & movie maker do NOT list in my programs via the Start menu.

Try to do individual installations of the parts but get a window showing that ALL the components ARE installed. I have re-booted after installation and RE-installation but still am unable to find Movie Maker - live or otherwise.

Have done a search on the computer and it just leads me to Windows Essential which, when clicked on to get to, just takes me back on line to Windows Essentials information and download.

I do have Photo Gallery and wonder if it is accessed via that program? If so then it's NOT that clear that it has to be accessed from there to open it to make a movie!

Answers appreciated.

I'm using Windows 7 Premium, 64 bit, Intel i7, 8GB ram...

After I created a 5 minute movie I clicked on the button to email it and sent it to my Windows Live email.  It tried to send for 15 minutes and I cancelled it thinking the file was too big.  I restarted my computer (have done this several times) and almost all of the icons are for Movie Maker and when I click on one that supposed to be Explorer or Word or Excel, it just brings up Movie Maker with the message "Movie Maker doesn't support the selected file type".  I have clicked close and closed MM several times, restarted my computer, uninstalled the MM program, reinstalled it and it still takes over my computer.  I don't have a restore point set up and need help!
Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but here goes. I run Office 365/Office 2011 on a Mac Mini. The only consistent problem I have is that when I leave the computer for, say, lunch, or to run errands or what have you, I almost always return to find that the Outlook window moves in such a way that to return it to center screen I have to shut it down and restart.

I run Outlook continuously, usually maximized. When I return to the computer after an hour or two, the window almost always has shrunken to a quarter of the screen and is locked in the top left of it, so far to the top right that I can't access the x - + buttons. When I drag the window to the middle of the screen, it immediately jumps back into the left corner.

Any idea what might be causing this to happen?

Thanks.

I was writing a very important letter for about three hours in outlook. I have Windows 8 on my system which I think is very confusing. The computer has a lot of strange commands by moving your finger around on the mouse. The system kept saying my drafts automatically but with one flick on the mouse it erased my whole letter.  I tried to find the draft button but was not on the page, I tried to go back with the arrow but I was prompted that I would navigate without sending the letter so I hit cancel. Then I hit save. I went to the my home page, hit the draft icon, looked on my subject letter but it too is blank.  The last time the system auto saved was 4:51pm on Nov 12. Is there any way to find the previous save before the system erased it, or did I save a blank page overiding the actual save? Please help! This is the second time this computer blancs out important documents.
I am using Firefox, on a Windows 8 computer.  Suddenly, I cannot reply to any hotmail emails.  When I click on reply, or reply all, or forward, nothing happens (swirling moving things to show it's thinking, but nothing after that).  I am not directed to a reply screen.  I have tried it on different computers, using different versions of Windows, and I have not problem.  It's only my Windows 8 computer.  Everything else is fine on the computer.  What's happened since yesterday?????
This is my first attempt at using it.  I am logged on as myself on two computers that are side by side.  On one computer I edit a doc, save it back to sky"drive, and close the doc.  On the other computer, when I try to refresh the list of files, it just give the umbiquious "something has gone wrong".  Over and over again.  No matter what.  Other functions, seem to to work.  I just cannot look at any files that were added even though quite some time has elapsed.  Go figure.  It seems less informative and less user friendly than most MS products.  Go figure.  Maybe it does not think that the same person would ever be active on two devices at the same time.  Surely not.  Tonight dropbox (or even just USB sticks) seem to better the user friendliness and effectiveness of Skydrive for me.

Hi, I hope somebody will able to help me. I put an excel sheet up on SkyDrive for people to edit it. I sent a link to people so they can edit it by using excel web apps. Those people who have Mac's computer, they can't access the excel sheet. Can you please tell me why? I know there don’t need to have Skydive or sign in to edit it.

Thank you,

Claudia

I currently use outlook 2010 calendar for my small business office scheduling needs. I have an IMAP account. We have three computers that our office assistants use to schedule appointments. The problem that we have come across is that if appointments are put in the calender in one computer, they are not shown in the calendars of the other two computers.

Before we had the third office assistant, we used a third party program called easy2sync that was able to sync information from one computer to the other in a uni-directional manner. This is not practical now that we have the third computer and I would like to know if Outlook has a built in sync mechanism to sync calendars across multiple computers. I heard about a microsoft exchange account. Would this solve my problem and if so how?

When I open and read emails on my iPhone they still show as "unread" in my live account on the computer. How can I link them up so they show as read or unread together.

Also, I have created folders on my account on the computer but they do not show up on my phone.

Thanks in advance for your help.
