Hi

Needed to rotate part of a video taken with a phone in vertical and then the owner twisted/rotated to landscape. I went to use the 'pre-installed' Live Movie Maker on my computer and opened the program but it kept crashing and had to be closed. Usual Windows message; windows is searching for a solution etc., etc., and then the error reports sent to report the problem.

Tried to do a repair in Control Panel to Windows Essentials but had to uninstall and then reinstall as the 'repair' failed.

Downloaded Windows Essentials 2012 and installed but the Windows Live gallery & movie maker do NOT list in my programs via the Start menu.

Try to do individual installations of the parts but get a window showing that ALL the components ARE installed. I have re-booted after installation and RE-installation but still am unable to find Movie Maker - live or otherwise.

Have done a search on the computer and it just leads me to Windows Essential which, when clicked on to get to, just takes me back on line to Windows Essentials information and download.

I do have Photo Gallery and wonder if it is accessed via that program? If so then it's NOT that clear that it has to be accessed from there to open it to make a movie!

Answers appreciated.

I'm using Windows 7 Premium, 64 bit, Intel i7, 8GB ram...
