When I send or receive a meeting cancellation in Office 2011 for Mac, the e-mail cancellation sends and looks as expected. However, the actual meeting in the calendar does not get updated? Other updates seem to go through, but cancellations do not update the meeting title or modify the meeting block to show as free.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hello. Tonight, my father recieved an e-mail which was a confirmation of cancellation to our msn dial-up internet access at $9.95/month happening tomorrow. The sender was *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The thing is we didn't cancel our internet access. Is this a bogus e-mail or, if it's legit, how can we resolve this issue? Thanks.
I received an e-mail titled "Confirmation of cancellation of Ad-Free Outlook.com" from MSFT *OUTLOOK.COM.  I find a few things interesting about this e-mail. First, I never requested cancellation. Second, while I have an outlook.com address, I have never paid for the service and am not sure what the could be cancelling. Lastly, the e-mail says the service "... has been cancelled on Friday, August 16, 2013.

I received this e-mail before the 16th so the tense is wrong in the sentence which makes me wonder if this is not a real MSFT e-mail. But, I guess that could be the mail server used was in an earlier time zone than me.

Anyway, I have scoured the forum to see if anyone else has received a cancellation notice for something that they never paid for or if anyone can point me to a phone number or chat option so I can talk to a real person to make sure there are no issues with my account.

Thanks.

I have repeated emails coming in advising I have asked for the hotmail acc to be closed when I have not. I am asked to give a cancellation and supply my password - are these emails bonafide or attempts to gain access to my email acc. This started shortly after I opened a gmail email acc as a back up. I do not use the gmail email acc and said I did not want my hotmail info transferred to the gmail acc when I opened it. Is this a coincidence or something else
