I have Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail.  My mother has Windows Vista and Windows Mail.  She scanned a document and saved it as a pdf.  She tried to send it to me as an attachment to an e-mail.  The attachment arrived, Expert PDF Reader opened it, but it was blank.  I tried to research why it was blank and informed that my security settings kept some attachments from opening as a security measure.  Where do I find my security settings and what do I do to open my mother's attachment?  Is there anything else I need to know about this issue?

Over the past week or so, there have been a couple of times when I have logged into Outlook 2011 for Mac first thing in the morning to find a new email has lost it's attachment.

The odd thing is, when I check the same message on my Blackberry, it shows that there is an attachment. However, I cannot open it or save it to my Blackberry memory card.

If the email has also been sent to a colleague using Outlook for Windows, they received the attachment okay.

Any email that arrives after logging in, with attachments, arrive okay.

Any thoughts?
How do I find my original email attachment in a thread? I seem to always get the last reply and can't forward the original...can we revert to the old understandable hotmail.  Even if I save (as I had done) my original email in a seperate folder, it insists on giving me ALL associated replies when i access it.....help!!
I have received an Email which includes a photo that I wish to print off. The photo is part of the Email, not an attachment. The actual size of the photo is too small for what I want. I have tried to enlarge it,but have had no success. Not being a p.c. wizard, does anyone know how this can be done ?

Does anyone know how to Fix Windows Live Mail Everytime I try and send a Massage or as an Attachment is comes back Stating This: For security reasons, this email account has been temporarily deactivated. A picture containing letters and numbers will appear when you close this window. To reactivate your account, enter the characters you see in the picture.

Any help at all I will be Greatly Appricaited by Me!! Thank You

Windows Live email is blocking even .doc files.  I appreciate the  reason for blocking potentially dangerous file extensions -- but why a .doc file?  Is it because I'm using Open Office and not MSWord? I'm new to Windows 8 and Windows email (a lifelong Outlook Express user) and am experiencing some growing pains.   Help!!
Any e-mail with an attachment autoimatically sends between 3-14 times.  All are received and then automatically delete except for the "original" message
Hello, how do I delete an attachment that I previously selected   Nov 20 2012  Bill
Hello, I wanted to check my sent messages file to verify the attachment sent with the email is the correct one.  Is there a place to view this?
Thank you
I am getting the message "...Please check you Mail Configuration...". Everything worked fine before, even sending eMail via Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Even after a complete delete of Office 2011 and a new installation it is not functioning any longer.  Steps to the error:

Menu: File ==> Share ==> eMail (as attachment)  (I had to translate it by myself because I am using German language - might be different at original english version)

Outlook start / pops up but nothing happens. Going back to the calling app (Excel, PPT, ...) shows Popup " Please check that your eMail program is correctly configured ....".

I have checked that Outlook is the default eMail Program and I run the Database Utility Tool to re-build my Main Identity - still getting this error popup.
