I recently bought the Mac Pro with Mountain Lion. I installed Office 2011 for Mac. When I try and setup an email account in outlook I am unable to do so. It appears that the accounts option under tools are missing. Any help on how to solve this will be
appreciated?
I have an Exchange account setup in Outlook 2011, with access to a bunch of my teammembers calendars and I'm have a couple of problems.
1. How do I change the color of each of my subscribed calendars, right now they all have the same color?
2. In Outlook on windows, you can view calendars side by side, but in the mac version, all selected calendars are merged on top of each other, I've looked at all the different settings without success, is this not possible?
Kind regards
Lars
I bought Microsofty Office for Mac 2011 in December 2012 and I received an email to say I could download for free a complete Office suite. I chose 365 Home Premium but I have noticed it is only for one year and it is still Microsoft 2011 and the only
difference is that I have Outlook? What happens after February 2014?
Is there any chance to purchase Outlook only as by mistake I have ordered the home version instead of the business one. Thank you.
I have at least one message that must be too large to be sent.
How can I get the message and cancel or edit it?
Thanks

Hi all,
environnement :
macosx 10.8.2
Outlook 2011
mail account : office365
When I want to create a directory under mailbox or in the same level of inbox, it creates a "no name" directory.
When I want to rename that directory with an other name, it's like I have pressed the enter or the esc key and don't allow me to change something. (or I need to be as fast as superman) :-)
I don't have the problem if I disconnect my exchange office mailbox to be in offline mode.
why and of course how to permit the directory creation in online mode ?
any idea ?
Thanx :)
Outlook restarts when trying to send an email with a large attachment. The email is causing Outlook to restart. I want to cancel the email message.

When launching Lync (same goes for the old OSX Communicator), I get a message stating that:
"Sign in to Microsoft Lync failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet."
Needless to say, I am connected to the Internet.
In fact, I am ABLE to connect to our Lync server if I change the DNS settings on my machine to point to an outside DNS service (i.e. Google DNS = 8.8.8.8). Of course that then prevents me from accessing other critical internal services, QA environments,
etc. When I switch back to my corporate DNS, Lync maintains its connection so I'm able to IM, see presence, etc. but, its an awful workaround and something that's been broken for years based on various message boards around the internets.
Any plans on fixing it? Or can you provide guidance on proper AD config issues (if that's the problem)?
Impacted systems:
- Lync v14.0.1
- Communicator v13.1.3
I've added a shared mailbox to my exchange account (using Office 365 hosted exchange account). In Outlook the shared mailbox appears but the folder structure is out of order and not all (sub)folders are synched.
I've tried removing the shared mailbox, adding it again, synching and emptying the cache of the mailbox but none of these methods seem to work.
When accessing the mailbox using OWA on Office365, all (sub) folders appear to be in the right place..
Any ideas what can be done to correct this?
kind regards,
Xavier
