The server is working fine with all my other devices. When I delete emails, they delete from the server and from all my devices, including my Macbook, so it's not the server. It's also just email as tasks and calendar items can be deleted from my Macbook and they get deleted from the server. Is there a setting that needs changing on my Macbook or in Outlook for Mac?
When i search in Outlook only mails prior March 20th 2013 shows (inbox, sent or otherwise) despite many more mails are available/on file in e.g. the inbox after that date. How to fix?
How can I get Outlook 2011 for Mac to display subfolders of my Inbox in the Unified Inbox?  This is very easy to do in Thunderbird and in Mac Mail, but so far it seems impossible here.
For the last month or so my home computer (mac)  does not allow me to send emails from my outlook.  it gives me the message "An operation on the server timed out.  The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic"  One Ok I believe this to be true but every time??? I think its a bigger problem.    When this happens I try to send test emails from my iphone from the same two account and it works, I than try to log on line to the accounts and send test emails and it also works.  Which leads me to believe it is something with my computer.  I must say I am not a big Mac fan I got my Mac in June and which I had just stayed with PC since I know how to trouble shoot that alot better as I am a child of the 80's and have been PC brain washed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Like I said the outlook had been working fine since about August when I installed it but then it just stopped.

I use Outlook 2011 for Mac and have access when required to Outlook 2010 for Windows.

If I *insert* (so by that I mean I click on the Picture button to embed) an image into my email - it shows up huge.  By that - I mean the picture that should be say 300x300 px - looks more like double it, as if it's tried to zoom the image.  If I save, send, etc - it looks the same.

However - if I save it as a draft, and then load it up in Outlook 2010 for Windows - it looks perfectly normal and as I would expect.  When I send it - Mac clients have a huge image and have to scroll around, Windows clients see it as it should be - normally sized.

Why does the Mac version of Outlook insist on blowing my pictures out of proportion and making my life difficult?

Thanks

fout 404 ,ik weet niet hoe ik die kan herstellen

We are a mixed Windows and Mac environment.  I have a user who has created a sub folder - calendar which she has shared.  The people who are using Outlook 2010 on Windows can access the shared calendar just fine.  Users running Outlook 2011 on Macs cannot access the shared calendar.  The sharing invitation includes an xml attachment that Outlook 2011 cannot process.  Any suggestions for getting access to this shared sub folder calendar would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Firstly, i have only just moved to a Mac after years of using PCs.  How can Microsoft allow 2 products to be incompatible? Like many others on this forum and elsewhere on the Internet I have a Hotmail account which I cannot use effectively with Outlook as I cannot sync my folders. I use a Mac, an IPad and an Android Phone and I just want my email to be the same across all 3 devices.

Please fix this or the alternative is for me to move to a Gmail account
The spelling checker in Outlook automatically checker changes 'be' to Be' and 'was' to 'Wass'. How can I change this, please?

    Regards, CCAC.
Although they used to send out easily, my outgoing emails are stuck in the Outbox and I do not know why or what to do.  Some are old enough now that I tried to delete and it won't do that either.  HELP
