Hi,
I have registered my domain in "Windows live admin" to manage my mail with a personalized domain.
Email accounts are created and working.
I haven't found though settings (server, ports, imap or exchange) for an externail email client which in my case is Outlook2011 for Mac.
Can you help with those?
Thanx

I have now fully switched from Entourage, bought Office 365 small business and am pretty happy. However with Office 2008 you had the choice of inserting either a default address or another into a Word Document such as an envelope or letter. Pretty normal
stuff.
Office 2011 only allows you to insert the default address chose in Outlook. You cannot make the choice in Word as you could before. So I have completely separate contacts now with business addresses and home addresses. It is the only way to do it I
guess. However when you insert a business address such as Steve Ballmer, Microsoft, blah blah blah, you only get Steve Ballmer, blah blah blah. No business name
Has anyone figured out how to get the company names in the inserted address?
Thanks.
I have been using Outlook for many years. At the present time, I have over 40,000 emails stored in Outlook (about 20 GB).
These emails are stored in subfolders and sub-subfolders of Outlook PST.
As emails come in, I either delete them or if they are important and are part of one of jobs, which have a folder or sub folder, I move them from Inbox to a subfolder or sub-subfolder or even a sub-sub-subfolder of Outlook PST.
I have been afraid to archive these emails because of my fear that when I need to restore and find old emails on one of the more than 200 subjects, I will not be able to restore the emails back to the same subfolders and sub-subfolders.
Is there some way to archive, where the emails will be archived in the sub or sub subfolder they are presently stored in?
I have sent myself a note and included several others on the Bcc line to preserve privacy. When attempting to see those names after sending the message they are not listed. I NEED TO KNOW WHO I SENT THE MESSAGE TO.
My manager wants me to fill out his calendar, but he doesn't want to have to accept all the invitation emails. If I don't send the invite, they do not appear on his calendar though! Is there a way to add appointments to his calendar without having to
send invitations?
Thank you,
Abigail
Hi -
I am having issues syncing calendar and contact between Outlook and iPhone. After digging through Google and several steps, I have had no luck.
1. Outlook -> Preference -> SyncServices does not show any items in the left panel
2. File: Library / Preferences / com.microsoft.outlook.SyncServicesPreferences.plist does not exist
3. Have re-installed Outlook
Any help with this would be truly appreciated.
Thanks much!!
Ive sent an email to a list of people and wanting to keep their privacy sent it to myself. However....I now wish to see the names I sent it to inside the BCC line and cannot access.
I have always used Outlook for PST.
I back up my *.PST files and carry them with me on a USB.
I recently purchased a Mac Air and Office for Mac 2011. I am aware that MAC uses a different format (*.olm) for Outlook, and that it is difficult to export OLM to PST without specific third party software.
I have decided therefore to keep my PC as the primary user of Outlook and to have my PST files converted to Outlook for MAC so that they are available on my MAC (mainly for reference). If I do choose to send an email, add a contact or insert a calendar
entry from the MAC, I send it by email to a second email address so it can be updated on my primary PC later on.
Here is the question - apologies for the long pre-amble...
I want to keep updating the MAC with my new PST file, but I understand that it is not as simple as deleting the OLM file and re-importing the PST file, because the OLM file does not appear to exits on the MAC. Instead apparently everything is held in
something called "Identities."
Can I please ask an expert whether there js a way that I might accomplish the above task?
Do I delete "Identities" and then re-import the PST? Do I have to delete all of the information within Outlook and re-import (as that would be very cumbersome).
Why on earth MS could not make their own software cross-platform, I do not know. They appear to have made the interface between Outlook 365 and Outlook.com even more complicated.
I very much appreciate those of you willing to give up your time and share your expertise.
