Hi

Using Outlook 2011 on a Mac upgraded to Mavericks.

In an email I select Preview to preview an attachment. The preview comes up for a few seconds then closes with a black preview screen stating "No item selected. This used to work fine with Snow Leopard.

Can someone help?

Thanks

Stephen
Hi,

Since updating to OS X Mavericks on a Mac, I can't search through my emails or add tasks in Outlook 2011.

I read on a previous forum post that this can be resolved by dragging the Macintosh HD to the Spotlight Privacy folder in System Preferences, which will re-index the hard drive. I did this exactly as instructed, but it hasn't resolved the issue.

In addition, I have tried rebuilding the database using the Microsoft Database Utility, but this hasn't fixed the issue either.

Any ideas on what else I could try?

Many thanks,

Ross
I would like to be able to se my calendar from my oulook.com (Hotmail) on my outlook desktop version. As I can understand there is a Outlook Connector that I need to download to be able to do this. Problem is – I can't find it anywhere for MAC??? Is that really so? Is there other ways I can make it happen?

Hi,

I am using Mac Outlook 2011. Recently my MBP HDD crashed sending me into panic mode as i did not have a recent backup of files. I ran DataRescue and recovered files.

I had to reinstall OS and Office MAC 2011. From the recovered file i have got  the Database and folders naming 0k to 31K with files naming MsgSource.

Can some please help me rebuild my Outlook.

Hi, at the moment I use Outlook [office 2010] as my main email program at work.  I was wondering if I can use that .PST file via Office for Mac 2011 which is what I want to use at home.

I use drop box and therefore I can sync the .pst file across both computers that way.

is this possible? or do I need to buy Office 365 and then install that on both computers and have my datafile stored in the Microsoft's cloud service?

Hello,
I have upgraded my system to Mavericks and since that time I'm not able to work with outlook 2011. In the time when it's trying to communicate with the online server (EWS) it's completely frozen and I cannot do anything with it. So when it doesn't do anything with the server I can open new e-mail, write it but then it starts some backend communication and it' frozen again. When I'm in offline it works smoothly. I tried several solutions:
- repair permissions
- repair MS Database
- move there and back several folders from MS folders in Library
- clean all caches, etc.
nothing helped. :((((
Can anybody help me?

Thanks,
Vratislav

Help!  I just upgraded to MacOSX Mavericks on my iMac.  I use Safari.   I now cannot add an attchment to my Outlook Web App.   I know I was able to do this before but for some reason clicking on the paper clip icon does nothing.

I am frustratred since I used this option quite a bit for school.

Thanks

I tried sending some messages with large attachments and now I keep getting the above error message (every 2 minutes). I went into my outbox and deleted the offending messages but I still keep getting the error message. I'm not going thru an Exchange server. I even went to my webmail from my ISP and deleted the messages from my "sent mail" box (I'm using IMAP). Still no change, every 2 minutes I get the same error message.
