I'm accessing my email over IMAP. Deleted items are moved to a Trash folder. 90% of the items in that folder are being marked as Junk even if they have been read and/or responded to. Selecting something and manually marking it as not junk moves it back
into my Inbox. I have my Junk Email Protection set to None and this is still happening. This has been true ever since I moved from Outlook 2003 on a PC to Outlook for Mac 2011.
Any help would be welcome!

I installed Mavericks about 10 days ago and since then I have experienced numerous issues. The main problem I am having is not being able to receive emails from my IMAP account without manually clicking send/receive at least 5 times before emails are sent.
My settings have not changed at all. One other thing I notice is that outlook is continuously trying to sync as the progress box always showing the inbox uploading with nothing happening.
This is extremely frustrating and renders Outlook useless for me. Has anyone else experienced this?
During update to Mavericks, Outlook failed to close and locked up. The Mavericks update was successful, but I have been unable to recover the Main Identity. I am using a Mac Air which only has 128 GB disk. I have read that at least 300 GB should be
used to recover the identity. Is there a way to use an external disk to perform recovery? I read where one individual used a Mac Pro to perform the recovery, but I believe that means you must have Outlook installed there. And how would you access the Main
Identity from the second computer or with an external drive?
Connecting to Exchange server through Office for Mac version 14.3.8.
Is it possible to create a task and then delegate/assign the task to an employee on the same exchange server running office on a windows pc.
I have completed a process to delegate a task folder but then the other person can see all my tasks. This is not what I am looking for.
I see that in 2011 replies to questions state that delegation is not possible. Is this still the case?
Apparently SyncServices no longer works with Outlook to sync my calendar with my iCloud calendar. I have to keep using Outlook since 99% of businesses use it for meeting invites. Other than forwarding all the meeting invites to my iCloud, is there another
way to sync?
Wondering if there is a way to configure Outlook for imap instead of pop for my hotmail account.
Hallo,
Ik wil mijn aangeschafte office for mac gaan gebruiken.
Groet,
Reinout

Hi,
We have encountered the following issue and would appreciate any suggestions on how to recover the users emails.
Server Environment:
Exchange 2010
Windows SBS 2011
Client side:
Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac 14.3.6
Mac OS X 10.8.4
AD and Exchange had issues meaning the AD accounts and user mailboxes were lost (unrecoverable). AD and Exchange users' accounts were recreated from scratch, with the intention of exporting the users cached identity data, from Outlook 2011, and then re-importing
it (PC users were a piece of cake with importing PST files directly into Exchange). The first Outloonk 2010 user is being done at the moment . When we first opened their Outlook 2011, it warned us to go Offline, otherwise the users data would be overwritten,
so we did and now the users data is being exported, for migration to their rebuilt account. However, the second user we have opened their Outlook 2011 identity, Outlook 2011 wanred us to go offline and then promptly got stuck, when the "Work offline" button
was clicked. Eventually Outlook threw an error message and said it had to close, because of an error. Now, when we open Outlook for this user Outlook is empty and except for a "Welcome to Exchange 2010 SBS" email. The folders, calendar and contacts are all
empty; however, the size of the identity hasn't changed. It is still the same size as it was prior to opening Outlook the first time (500+MB). We tried to run a DB repair on a copy of the identity, but this made no difference. Any suggestions as to how we
may get to the data that is obviously still in the identity profile?
Cheers,
David.
I use outlook to retrieve e mails on my mac.
O2 have closed e mail accounts & I have had to set up a new account via windows live with an outlook.com mail address.
I used to access my emails account via pop settings. I wish to remain signed in so my mails come through automatically.
I used to enter Pop & Smtp settings for o2. i.e. pop.o2.co.uk & smtp.o2.co.uk
What do I need to replace these with in order to automatically receive mail?
Thanks
Neil
