Hi,

We have encountered the following issue and would appreciate any suggestions on how to recover the users emails.

Server Environment:
Exchange 2010
Windows SBS 2011

Client side:
Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac 14.3.6
Mac OS X 10.8.4

AD and Exchange had issues meaning the AD accounts and user mailboxes were lost (unrecoverable). AD and Exchange users' accounts were recreated from scratch, with the intention of exporting the users cached identity data, from Outlook 2011, and then re-importing it (PC users were a piece of cake with importing PST files directly into Exchange). The first Outloonk 2010 user is being done at the moment . When we first opened their Outlook 2011, it warned us to go Offline, otherwise the users data would be overwritten, so we did and now the users data is being exported, for migration to their rebuilt account. However, the second user we have opened their Outlook 2011 identity, Outlook 2011 wanred us to go offline and then promptly got stuck, when the "Work offline" button was clicked. Eventually Outlook threw an error message and said it had to close, because of an error. Now, when we open Outlook for this user Outlook is empty and except for a "Welcome to Exchange 2010 SBS" email. The folders, calendar and contacts are all empty; however, the size of the identity hasn't changed. It is still the same size as it was prior to opening Outlook the first time (500+MB). We tried to run a DB repair on a copy of the identity, but this made no difference. Any suggestions as to how we may get to the data that is obviously still in the identity profile?

Cheers,

David.
