I know with my Windows Mail (and we used to do it at work...) you can set things up so that you know when the email you sent is Read/Deleted etc. Is it possible to prevent this notification being sent to the sender?
I have sent off a lot of Hotmail emails in the past few months. If I switch from Hotmail to Outlook, will the recipients be able respond to my origional Hotmail address?
I do not add people to my Contacts. But when I want to send or forward an email, I only have to click on a particular letter of the Alphabet, and all the contacts in that SEND list appears, and I just have to choose the one I want. I tried to forward an
email, but could not pull up anyone in that SEND List. So how do I get it back?

Yesterday I was asked when I signed in to sign into another way to provide extra protection. I can't remember what it was called. Since then my viewing screen has completely changed, it now does not let me send emails attach documents or look at my contacts.
Today I pressed a button and now it looks like im in outlook instead of hotmail.
how to make hotmail settings " Permanent https:// " so as to protect in public Wi-Fi.
1. i needed a new account address for" family mails" when i changed ISP as the one authorised by that account was discontinued.
2. As you used to be able to sign in with several different hotmail as required i made a new address for "family use" in Hotmail
3 .Without warning the old hotmail address i have used for years was immediately discontinued . as i used that hotmail for for logging on accounts for ipad, kindle etc. that was quite brutal and annoying. why did Hotmail do this.I now have to go to the trouble of altering all my current accounts.
4. used to rate Hotmail quite highly-- not so impressed now i can tell you

I've been unable to login to my mail account for approximately the last 5 hours. I'm just getting a page saying "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Hotmail right now".
I can log into the attached Live account so I don't believe it is a problem with the password or similar permissions.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
